For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

The experience of playing this game was beautiful in every regard. I can tell that this was a passion project of the developer and he knocked it out of the park. Every detail from the intensity to the vibrations on the gamepad to the haunting characters dialogue (and everything in between) was perfectly executed. Although I beat the game in about 5 hours, there are a few hidden challenges that I missed and a few interactions that I missed, and I couldn't tell you how many collectible coins that I missed as well, but I have a feeling that at some point, I will 100% this one. It is just that good. If you are a fan of 2D platforming games with lots of challenge, you NEED to play this at some point during your life. This game will stick with me for a long time to come and whenever somebody asks me to list off a perfect game, this is one that will surely come to mind. Bravo, dev... bravo.
Pretty cool little game, its got some Hollow Knight vibes but the gameplay reminds me a lot of Super Meat Boy. It's really a "memory platformer", most levels you can see the way through but getting past many sections is a memory and practice thing. That type of game is not for everyone because the difficulty can be unfair sometimes. But this is worth getting.

Nice precision platformer. Can be very frustrating, but I like it. :-)
yeeess.,, platformer metroidvania with intriguing little world... just what i wanted developer...
tight controls, secrets in every room. great metroidvania.
I Love It!
One challenging and engaging Game. Have played Platformers a lot in the 2000s and must say I had a blast coming back to the genre with the The Pale Piper. I enjoyed the scenery and am impressed by the mood, created by a few pixles and good story. :) The controls are crisp, the skillprogression is challenging but smooth. 10/10 would defenetly recommend for all 90s Kids who want some nostalgia combined with a polished experience! Btw: Played it way more than the 0.1hrs. Might have to do with the Update.
Can’t find a fault for how this is done. Extremely forgiving in the way that Celeste is with an incredible art style and soundtrack. Always a marvel to see a single person create some so wholly unique and excellent. I’m not good at precision platformers but the quick reloads and bite size puzzles made this totally doable and never frustrating for me. Worth it for the art alone, but the gameplay is always fantastic and never feels overly complicated.
Very nicely put-together and atmospheric lo-fi platformer. The game demands precision to progress, but mistakes just set you back to the start of the screen you're on (with the exception of some challenge sections that are entirely optional), so you spend your time perfecting your plan of attack and improving its execution rather than repeating sections you've already done. I like the pace at which new challenges are introduced: whether through enemies or environmental hazards or screen layouts that need a bit of puzzle-solving, the game manages to keep things fresh but not overwhelming. You also gain some fun movement capabilities along the way which are very satisfying once mastered. I did have a few frustrating moments: there were a couple of screens where I was dying suddenly and couldn't quite figure out why for some time, and the limited colour palette can make it hard to pick out some hazards. Overall, a fairly tough but enjoyable fix of platforming.
