About
The Outer Worlds 2 is the eagerly-awaited sequel to the award-winning first-person sci-fi RPG from Obsidian Entertainment (just look at the exciting number of dashes in this sentence!). Time to clear your calendar – get ready for an action-packed adventure with a new crew, new weapons, and new enemies in a new colony! So much newness!
As a daring and most likely good-looking Earth Directorate agent, you must uncover the source of devastating rifts threatening to destroy all of humanity. Your investigation leads to Arcadia, home of skip drive technology, where the fate of the colony, and ultimately the entire galaxy, rests on your decisions—your strengths, your flaws, your crew, and the factions you choose to trust.
The Arcadia colony is engulfed in a factional war, as the Protectorate’s so-called benevolent rule is challenged by the rebellion of their religious order and a corporate invasion. As destructive rifts spread across the colony, each faction fights to control or close them for their own ends. Navigate diverse zones, uncover hidden lore, and shape the fate of a system on the brink!
Build your character with the abilities and choices that reflect your playstyle. The colony reacts to your every move, crafting a narrative that’s yours to own—whether you’re a disciple of diplomacy, an astute strategist, a crusader for chaos, or something different altogether. And yes, you can dumb!
Recruit companions with unique traits, backgrounds and goals. Whether you choose to help them achieve their ambitions or steer them toward your own objectives, your influence shapes their growth (or death), making them an integral part of the immersive story you create together.

never let obsidian out of the kitchen, they must keep cooking
If you never played the first game, then this one is probably fine. If you really liked the first game, this one is kind of meh. It's like Aunties Choice (aka Micro$oft) was in charge of the budget and they cut every corner they could. Honestly, I'd rather have gotten new DLC for the original.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Best purchase I made in 2025 and I am on my third playthrough right now. First bought it on Xbox, and then bought it on Steam for a second time because of wanting to play it on a Linux machine without a headache workaround.
It's funny. It's fun. It's good. It's not worth 70$. Get it on sale.
Ótimo looter shooter. Personagens bens escritos e dublados. Armas divertidas, skills e perks bacanas.
Originally, I'd say avoid this game until technical things are resolved. And while there are some glaring bugs and issues that can occasionally make it difficult to progress, things have largely been polished over. You will benefit from a beefy system and a decent supply of patience. The save issue still exists, wherein you MUST link a microsoft account to make any saves and the game does not tell you about this until you try and make your first manual save. Make sure you update drivers so it doesn't generate shaders for 15 minutes every time you load it up. If you are a PC player, you will be (not quite) delighted to hear they have recently introduced a new walking mode! Which is slower than every other NPC's walking speed, thereby defeating the purpose of adding a walking mode on PC! Yaaay! Use a controller, if you have one. Regardless, very good game. Corporate space-cowboy fallout. Do play.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE LET ME HIDE MY HELMET 7/10
recommend getting but maybe wait for a sale A lot of fun cant wait to see what they do with fallout
The essential fallout style game (first person shooter). Over my playthroughs I found that your dialog options actually have an impact on the story. Also, the humor is wonderful. This surpasses the Outer Worlds (part one) in story, gameplay, and size.
