Run a newspaper under censorship. Report, choose your articles, strike out words, lay out the page. Sharp reporting draws the censors; a compliant paper loses its readers. 1920s Gyeongseong — a newspaper management simulation adventure where you complete a single page, every single day.

About
Decide today's front page.
Gyeongseong, the 1920s. You are the editor-in-chief of a newspaper in Japanese-occupied Korea. Review the incoming articles and testimonies, and decide what runs, which words get cut, and where each story sits on the page. Every night, a single sheet of newspaper is completed by your hands.
※ The demo covers roughly half of the full game.
The words you choose become the newspaper
The Newspapers of the day is a historical political simulation adventure where you complete each day's newspaper through reporting, article selection, censorship, and page layout. Every line, every word shifts your credibility, impact, and censorship risk. Push too hard, and the Government-General shuts your paper down. Bend too far, and your readers walk away. Report it, and someone is put in danger. Stay silent, and someone is forgotten. Between survival and conviction, complete a single page — every single day.
Reporting doesn't end at the desk
Your reporters go out into the field — meeting people, gathering testimony, closing in on hidden facts. Sometimes a single conversation changes the course of an investigation; sometimes only real risk brings you closer to the truth.
Dice checks staked on Connections, Eloquence, Intellect, and Stamina decide whether an investigation succeeds. A successful investigation makes for a sharper article — but overreach puts your reporter, and your paper, in danger.
Sometimes you must walk into the dark yourself. Slip past the patrolmen's sight, and dig up the leads. As the years pass, the surveillance tightens — and a single slip can bring everything down.
Weave keywords into a scoop
Weave together keywords collected across multiple issues to complete feature stories that shake the era. The angle you write from — and how you frame it — changes the fate of your newspaper.
Who will you send?
A newspaper never runs on one person alone. Reporters who want to print the truth, and reporters who put the paper's survival first — they all make the same page. Each reporter carries their own convictions and their own limits. Force them to write against their beliefs and their stress builds; pushed to the limit, a reporter breaks — or comes out harder. Who you send to which story, and which article you assign to whom — that is your strategy.
1945: Your Ending
From 1920 to liberation, your accumulated choices branch into many endings. A newspaper that survived. A newspaper shut down. A newspaper remembered only by its name. The articles you wrote decide the final front page.
