Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Some spoilers. I absolutely loved this game at first and I still love some things about it, but it was too frustrating for no reason. The graphics, horror elements, map design, and sound design are all pretty great, although at one point you get completely cut off from one of the safe rooms that may have all your stuff in storage because... ♥♥♥♥ you. The camera angles especially are maybe the best I've ever seen, at least as good as any Resident Evil. There are some AI paintings, but honestly I didn't think it was too much to be noticeable or detract from the actual paintings or map design. It's used a tasteful amount. The story, voice acting, and notes are... serviceable. They're fine. The writing isn't crazy and there's some typos (even the shotgun description, for God's sake), but it works. The ending is meh. The puzzles are hit or miss. The tarot card seemed really interesting, but the note that hints how to solve it you CANNOT GO BACK TO because once you start the puzzle you're stuck in the screen until you solve it. I had to look up a solution. There's some stretches with no plausible saving, and then you can die on a puzzle and lose a half hour of progress. Because, again, ♥♥♥♥ you. I like the idea of writing down solutions or clues irl, or storage being per storage room, or no checkpoints, or restricted inventory, etc, but it crosses a few too many lines that just feel like bad QoL and make the whole thing a chore and artificially extend the playtime. No map seems fine (you have to learn the layout wow!) but I have a life and didn't play this nonstop. Taking a week off then resuming it and having to relearn what the heck is going on was annoying. I like the laser sight aiming, and the combat overall is okay, but the boss fights SUCK. The first one is literally just an ammo check with no mechanics. Dump enough bullets into it while it walks in a straight line towards you, and if it touches you, you die. That's it. The second one tries more, with an arena and some traps (with no tell of when they're gonna go off), and it's just a game of run in circles while you ammo check it. I ran out of ammo and had to try and lure it into traps for another 5 minutes. Not great, but whatever. The third boss fight I got trapped in a dead end, dumped my entire shotgun into him to try and get a stun or something where I could run past him, but he didn't stagger and there wasn't even enough room to squeeze by him. Instakilled. Fun. Final boss fight? You guessed it. Ammo check while he walks towards you. If he reaches you, you die. All the bosses instakill you, and so do some other enemies. Enemies start spawning that aren't worth the ammo to kill, but you also cannot physically get past them without getting hit. The blind enemies make things interesting, but otherwise your enemies variety is Zombie, Zombie With More Health, Zombie Boss That Instakills You. I appreciate the shot at a "classic survival horror experience", but it was just annoying. Some of these things could've been fixed after the launch (add a hallway to get rid of dead ends in boss fights, casual mode with a map and shared storage, allow players to exit a puzzle and come back, etc, etc, etc) but it's been out for a year plus, and the dev doesn't really seem to care about improving it. You get what you get. I'm still interested in seeing more from this guy and maybe get this one on a good sale, but man, this missed the mark. Or maybe I'm just getting old and don't have the patience anymore.
Pros:
The game is beautiful and really does foster a genuine creepy atmosphere. -Beautiful game, textures were rendered really well -Fosters a genuine creepy atmosphere -Captures old Resident Evil aesthetics with it's own twists on how they approach puzzles. -Had some unique ideas on how to handle healing and certain enemy types
Cons:
A lot of the game mechanics are clunky which someone might argue is by design to make it harder or scarier but I honestly just found it really unenjoyable and tedious. - Tank controls felt awkward even on a D-Pad and took a while to re-learn - No Autosave which is fine but it's not made obvious unless you look it up online or if you die and lose a lot of progress. Yes, even after important cutscenes - The bosses were just unforgiving bullet sponges that didn't really offer any strategy except for keep shooting even if there was no space to really escape. -Voice acting was awkward not in that charming 90s way. It was awkward because it was obvious it was a Non-American actress (She is British) doing a bad American accent. Unless of course that was a design choice like say if the characters first language is not English ( I'm trying to give the studio something to work with here in the future) -Story had something there but it felt really underdeveloped. Maybe they are hoping for a sequel project but besides one or two things mentioned in the story I don't see how they can pull that off
Summary
Overall the game LOOKS really good and had the potential to be something really fun but not long into it you realize it seems more like a proof of concept type project. I think this studio can do some killer stuff in the future but this project just didn't do it for me. I kept trying to find ways to cheat (which had little support as well) just to finish the game because I didn't find the combat, difficulty, or movement enjoyable at all. If you like games that are unforgiving then yeah go for it because some people like that. I personally don't think a game has to be artificially difficult to present a fun challenge that makes you want to die and try again. Hope future projects work out alot of kinks.
Awesome RE-style experience: great Retro graphics, but not pixelated, interesting story, cool puzzles, not too hard overall - perfectly suited for me! :) Please make more games like this and take my money!
The Mute House is a good survival horror game that pays homage to the golden era of the genre back in the 90's. Unfortunately, it has its flaws that doesn't let it bright in all its glory. Pros - Good atmosphere: Makes you claustrophobic, just like the original Resident Evil. - Unique enemies: There are not a lot of them, but each one feels different from the rest, with their own strategies to be defeated. - Mechanics: You will find a lot of items and weapons that can be use in different ways. Therefore, all of them feel special. Cons - Controls: I know they are trying to revive the tank controls from that era, but some enemies are too fast to be dodge with those kind of controls. Also, there are some parts where you have to navigate through labyrinths and is very frustrating to get stuck when an enemy is chasing you. - Enemies that kill you in one hit: There are two types of enemies that kill you in one hit, and one of them can't be kill. You have to dodge those pale guys in the dark without running because they can see your lantern and hear your steps. If that encounter would have been reserved to an specific part of the game, it would be fine, but those bastards appear out of nowhere in places you have been before. I found that thing so cheap. - Inventory management: You have only 6 spaces in your inventory and boxes where you can store your items. None of the boxes are connected, so you have to run back and forth to restock your items. That would be fine if the ammo can stack up, but it doesn't. Each clip that only has 8 bullets for the handgun occupies one space, and in the case of the shotgun you can only carry 6 bullets in each space. In this game where an enemy can take more than 8 bullets, is just unfair and badly implemented. Overall, Mute House did a good job transporting you to the world of classic survival horror, but not as great as I was hoping for. Nevertheless, if you're a fan of the genre, give it a try. 7/10
Wonderful homage to the classic horror games. I was never a fan of such games but I enjoyed this nonetheless.
I don't know what led the developer to make the first boss the way it is, but that's as far as I got before calling it quits. 18 shotgun shells and 24 handgun bullets still weren't enough. And it's just a stupid tank slowly creeping toward you, that's it. A boss-on-rails that's nothing but a bullet sponge. Thanks, but no thanks - there are better games in this genre. Sadly, I can no longer get a refund. Other issues: - the character controls feel like she's swimming through the air rather than running. - I don't care for the laser sight mechanics (in a classic RE-style game... nope). - a 6-item inventory feels like a "screw you" move, especially considering that ammo can't be combined. - the image is either cropped or stretched on a 16:10 monitor - pick whichever one you like better. If, by some miracle, it isn't stretched or cropped, then the cursor can't reach items in the inventory. I mean, each option is fresh and exciting in its own way, but still, no. - you can't remap controller buttons without jumping through hoops with external tools. In my opinion, the run and reload buttons should be swapped. The camera angles are nice, though, and the game looks good in screenshots. And the idea of using leeches as medkits made me laugh. Sadly, it doesn't feel good to play. Feels unpolished. If you're looking for a similar game, play Tormented Souls or Signalis instead.
Decent fixed camera survival horror like the old RE games
this game is amazing, i love it!
Needs a map. Quit at the first stupid spider boss. The bullet sponginess of it is absolutely ridiculous. The controls do not feel tight enough to reasonably aim quickly at her head like the game wants you to. Mad I played too long for a refund.
The Mute House was an awesome experience from start to finish. If your a fan of the classic Resident Evil games , you'll definitely love this. The game has that same tense, creepy atmosphere where your constantly on edge, solving puzzle's, and trying to survive 8/10.
