I really liked playing this game. The writing is wonderful, the art is great and the mystery is intriguing. I had a lot of fun investigating and love how much there is to discover. Also the voice acting is fabulous, the humour is fitting, the characters are fantastic, the gameplay feels fresh and I could go on and on. I feel like there was a lot of love poured into making this game. I hope the people behind it can continue working on a sequel if they want to. And it's also great for playing together!
This game is one of few point and click games that I could play over and over again without growing tired of it; the art is impeccable and the sound design and music to accompany it creates such an immersive world and adds to the depth of it's characters. Speaking of the characters, I simply couldn't get enough of them; each one was so jam packed with personality it made listening to all of their dialogue so worthwhile and borderline addicting. To put it simply there is no way you could hate this game, the arcs are too tight, each chapter leads to the next - beginning, middle, end - and bang. Not a line wasted.
I've been waiting for this to come out for such a long time and it was a treat to play. The voice acting was phenomenal and I love the animations, overall the look and sound was an upgrade from Tangle Tower (which I also really liked!) The story in this one was really interesting, I enjoyed the puzzles, and overall I cannot wait to see what the devs do next :)
What a brilliant game. It's gorgeous in the art department. The music and voice acting are top-notch. It's laugh-out-loud funny, deeply human, and kept me on my toes the whole way with the central mystery and its kooky cast of characters. I think fans of the detective genre will be very happy with the plot -- I found most the big reveals to be incredibly exciting and satisfying. Such a fantastic follow-up to Tangle Tower in that it outdoes its predecessor in every way. Definitely friendly to newcomers to the series too! I can't possibly recommend it enough.
Really, really enjoyable. SFB has clearly found their winning formula, now I'm just hoping there's less time between MM and a new release than their was between MM and Tangle Tower. Speaking of, I might be in the minority of people that actually enjoyed Tangle Tower more - I thought the shorter length made it feel a lot more dense and I enjoyed the premise as well as late-game reveals more. That said, it's not an indictment against MM - the steak is juicy and the lobster is buttery
We were waiting for this game for so long and the wait was definately worth it. Character design, story, voice acting, humour - all top notch. Thank you from a daughter and mom playing all three Grimoire games together.
