For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

I mean, iots fun enough, but i find the corruption to be tedious more then anything. dont feel it adds much to the game, if i wanted to fight against supernatural while fighting and taming mounts, id choose Horizon Zero Davn. But I wanted to play a game about horses and riding through a historically accurate land. By the time i got past tutorial and faced corruption it was too late to refund, but if i could i think i would of off the corruption alone. Additionally, this game just isnt worth the current price tag at the moment. needs more polish to the feel of riding the horse. Right now the horse does EXACTLY what you ask it to, and has no free will, plus when the mood is too low it will refuse to sprint away from actual wolves and bears... what? Reconsideration of that mechanic is reccomended. Adding a bit of a passive pull towards paths when not galloping would be nice (so we dont gotta constantly be adjusting) and giving the horses a mind of their own, inclinations to desobey, or actually run on their own accord when scared. right now fear is just... low mood and refusal to run? Oh, and graphics, i get some WEIRD artifacts, might be my drivers, will edit after updating them TLDR: Has potential, maybe try a different idea then corruption, and give the horses more life instead of being motorbikes that fuel up on water and grass. Maybe worth a buy, just not right now. Do mind that the price is planned to go UP!

Corrupted. I deeply regret buying this ♥♥♥♥, it souded so nice, but then the corruption update come out and ruined the game. Stupid thing but devs told everyone that we can turn it off. Then I learned that to play story, I would need to play with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanics... so waste of money, really. A huge disappointment; the developers belong on my blacklist now.
i really want to love this game but 1) corruption is not funny, maybe cool, but not funny... maybe, just maybe, it could be better if we focused on smth else than this update 2) change stable UI for horses and finally let us transfer horses between stables!!! please!!! i beg you!! we beg you!!! T_T
until the month-long standing crash issue that I and others are facing, i can't recommend this game. I have seen dozens of "fixes" being suggested from updating drivers to completely disabling parts of my computer's hardware or CPU. I've posted in the discussion forums about it, and while I continuously see other discussion posts getting responses from MULTIPLE different devs, mine has not been replied to, which wouldn't bother me if i didn't see the devs in multiple other posts. I've submitted dozens of crash reports to Aesir in the last month, and since my crashing started, multiple patch and beta updates have been released, and not ONE has even mentioned the crash issue. Considering this issue completely PREVENTS you from playing the game, I can't suggest buying it in its current state. I have a brand new Lenovo gaming laptop and ALL my drivers are up to date, and this laptop could run the game for 6+ hours at a time prior to the release of the Corruption beta (not a fan of corruption. wasn't on the roadmap if i remember correctly and doesn't make sense in a self-proclaimed "realistic" game). IF my game worked, which it STILL doesn't, I would say its definitely worth the price. the gameplay itself is unique and the current missions, while repetitive, are engaging and promising for what is eventually to come. the breeding is my favorite aspect so far, training is among my least favorites because of how long it can take, but otherwise a promising game IF Aesir and the devs can find a way to fix the crash issue without me taking it upon myself to become a computer engineer. i truly do hope that the issue can be resolved, because i really would like to be able to leave a more positive review to recommend the game to others, but in its current state with this crash issue affecting MANY players, I just can't.
- it should be a survival , 'cozy' like chill game about you, your horse and the mongolian land and people .. what we got is Death Stranding with horses - they dont care about feedback and dont listen to the community, they just search for free testers - backers that put money in the game did not get 1 thing that they said in the roadmap from kickstarter - Windstorm had a good reason backing away from this game and the devs :'D - 1 update (corruption) made the whole community split and they're sweeping it under the rug
This is a solid game. I view it as "a game made by a horse-girl studio that's about to break into mainstream." For everyone who ever wanted the RDR2 horseback life as a standalone game, this is it, but it adds the delivery system of Death Stranding as a game loop. It's still EA/beta, of course, and they're still fleshing it out. I have not played a lot of the Corruption mechanic, so note that my review does not cover that. So TL;DR, if you want a good chill game about travelling and exploring on horseback, with a delivery/rank-up system as a courier for something to drive you, this game is actually great. Pros: - Good gameplay loop, needs a little more work to engage the player fully in terms of challenge. I don't recommend time limits, as part of the game's charm is how chill it is (again, without corruption). But maybe things like extra-heavy loads, cosmetic unlocks for deliveries, etc. - A neat addition to the gameplay loop is world upgrades. As you rank up by doing deliveries to specific NPCs and villages, you gain the ability to build upgrades to those regions. For example, you can build campsites, troughs, feed stations and cooking pots. You can also build bridges to simplify travel to some regions. - Very pretty. I'm on a 4070 and the graphics are good, with good lighting, foliage/foliage cover and wind interaction, well-made terrain, good textures and more. There's a few issues with the textures (ex. red legs on gray horses which are genetically "black," green legs on bays and pinkish fur on light Grays) but overall it's solid, and immersive. The views you can get from the mountains are fantastic. - Adding to the above, the horses are gorgeous. I use Mongolians and Limousins. It's clear that the Limousin still needs work: there's clipping issues at the hind haunch into the belly, the tack clips a little, and the ears/eyelashes are always white, but it looks good and is useable. The Mongolian is perfect. The Breton looks good too. I find the Akhal-Teke and Ferghana to look a little stretched, like they were made from the existing horse models and made a bit TOO thin and stylized. But a lot of players love them. This is a hard one to nail; the vids I've seen on the previous horse games by this company were nowhere near as good, for example, and most games just don't DO horses right. But I really like the models here. - Production value is high. This does not FEEL like a small indie niche game. It is well-made, considering it's EA/Beta. There are bugs but I have run into nothing gamebreaking and I believe I've only crashed once as of making this review, and that was on Beta (less stable. Heh, stable). Mostly they are UI and textural issues, nothing worse than that. - Sound design's pretty good. Hoofbeats on different terrain, Mongolian voice-acting (I've heard complaints about the English so switched it immediately, the Mongolian sounds great), a lot of the atmospheric sounds ex. snowstorms, all good. The music is unobtrusive and surprisingly beautiful, with the few vocal songs featuring the Mongolian culture and language. Suggestions/bugs: - I'd like to see breeding for stats be clearer in how to improve them, and horse breeding for stats and traits to be easier. I have spent the majority of my gameplay spamming sleep cycles and then selling failed foals who didn't get the RNG combinations I want. Trust me, devs: people will engage with this mechanic no matter how simplified it is, and will breed for colors & patterns regardless. But 30+ hours to get the stats with the traits I want was rough. - There's a few bugs, as to be expected. Sadly some of these are in the breeding system: horses will keep spitting out identical foals, or traits will overlap, not load, or not pass down correctly at all (I can't seem to breed Constitution over Cold Resistance, for example: the cold ALWAYS wins out) - Would like to see occasional other riders, and world events like local races. Imagine a race track, in a meadow, where you need to test your archery skills by firing at targets as you ride, and it scores you on accuracy & speed! Or an outright horse race to test endurance and/or speed! - Would like to see cosmetics. New saddles, clothing, new colors/dyes. The cosmetics systems in games add replayability. Imagine if you had to get 1st place in the above archery competition, or race, to unlock special saddles or clothes, or make certain special deliveries for a cool saddle, or raise certain ranks up high for it! - Please allow camping everywhere, or if that's not feasible, add more campsites. They're way too few & far between for someone who has a tent stored in their pack! - New saddlebags to unlock, for example waterproof bags for water-sensitive cargo, or insulated bags for heat/cold-sensitive cargo. Maybe they have smaller inventory space as a trade-off, so you need to keep your bags & pick what you need? - DESPERATELY asking for the ability to turn off the Ovoo and Corruption screen effects, in particular the terrible chromatic aberration. I had to turn Corruption off and avoid Ovoos specifically because entering these regions triggers a near-instant migraine for me! Most games allow chromatic aberration to be turned off, and the intensity in these areas is strong. Maybe purely a vignette like with cold/hot regions? Stormy for Ovoos and purple/veiny for Corruption? - The pop-up for foal birth is too large, as are some other pop-ups, and too frequent. Adding it as a new active quest would be better imo. - Make hoof care more relevant :) Rare event where the horse picks up stones and stumbles more often, and you have to check the hooves, for example, but happens less if you care for them? Or maybe it is relevant and I just pick hooves too much haha - First person view! I can't stress enough how welcome this would be, especially on horseback. I saw a dev response to someone else suggesting this, and it basically boiled down to "well we make horse games, trust me you don't want that." TRUST ME yes we do. First person riding in a number of games really drives home the immersion! P.S. Please update the bird models :D They're obviously meant to add really cool cinematic atmosphere but they're these ugly stumpy duck guys with stiff wings and beaks that face the wrong direction-
Unfortunately, the performance is ridiculously bad, even for an UE5 game. I'm going to buy the game again once devs do something about it.
Honestly the game was fun for about 4hrs. After that it's a real drag. Breeding stats is entirely RNG, you can waste HOURS just grinding through horses trying to get the stat you actually want to land. The whole gameplay is Go to points A, B, C, D, pick up returning items and take them back to B, C, D, and end back at A before going home. The world is massive and EMPTY. No wildlife except for a handful of horses in most of the starting zone. The wolves are buggy, hunting is utterly pointless which is sad really. And I didn't bother with the corruption crap because it's not what I wanted in the game to begin with. I have 15hrs in the game and I don't really care to keep playing it. Honestly you can shave off like 6hrs because 6hrs was wasted just breeding horses......
Great game! i have been having a blast playing this game. I have been sick of all horse games being the same old thing of brush, feed, breed, compete, save the farm. this game is a breath of fresh air. the environment is absolutely gorgeous and the horses are realistic without being tedious.
