Civil war has broken out across Erebonia. After his narrow escape from Trista, Rean will take up his sword again on a journey with his Divine Knight, Valimar, in search of his friends from Class VII and a way to end the conflict before its price becomes far too dear...

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 3 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Nothing much to say about this game, because i don't really remember it. It still a trails game so the gameplay is at least good and the story is at least okay.
Trails of Cold Steel II, while a great sequel, leaves a lot to be desired compared to the first game when it comes to delivering its story. It has a lot of filler storywise that a large part of it doesn't really hold much weight to the overall narrative of the entire story of all Trails of games up until that point. But I guess this can be chalked up to the usual overcomplication of JRPG stories. There is not as much focus to each individual characters of Class VII after you reunite with them but instead the game focuses on the characters as a collective and it kinda boiled down to them being "yes men/women" of Rean. Save for Emma which has a lot more personal involvement in CS2's story. Gameplay-wise, it's the same as CS1 and you can pretty much still cheese literally all of the fights. 7/10

An interesting story and an engaging combat system have made me a fan of these games.

It's a lovely game.
very good
Great Game
Story wise, I was on the edge of my seat every part of the game. Whatever doubts I had about the first game, this just reassured me that it is the trails series that I love. The orbments/quartz was still as annoying as it was in the first game but I got adapted to it nevertheless. There was a variety of different special quartz that made the game and fights more great for me. I can not emphasize how it was worth playing the series up to this game, everything started connecting. The dots are starting to link to grasp the whole story in general. I hope CS3 and CS4 continue to hold this amazing job of story telling.
se i nuovi personaggi saranno all'altezza
It's a good game but my god if i was a drinking man and i took a shot everytime the charcters acknoweldge both factions suck and Civil war sucks and we should be a 3rd party and were gonna do our own thing. But then bend overbackwards to help in the war effort and actively take a side. And then keep saying oh no we're just a 3rd party tehee and everyone just treats them like there a neutral 3rd party tehee. I'm gonna tehee my brains out. Like its trying to have its cake and eat it too. Even though realistically it doesent make sense for the charcters to be so against actively talking a side. Even if you use hindsight and future game knowledge knowing the side that wins the war goes onto be the villain for the next 2 arcs. Everyones friends familes confidants etc there all on this one side. Just let them join. Like look i get it. You want the heroes to have some degree of seperation if they back the big bad directly its a bad look players might feel too strongly. But like you gotta have it make sense. You cant have all there friends and family on this one side. And anyone whos not be kidnapped by the other faction and expect this 3rd party thing to really work well
