I would recommend The Last Shot largely if you like the aesthetic, it's definitely the best part of the game. The art, animation, and the story told through the world is all quite charming. You can see in the pictures and videos if it interests you. There's a lot of detail and fun moments strewn throughout. Sound design has a lot of industrial effects with some comedic touches. Also the music is unique and fun, although I did lower the music volume as it can be a bit distracting. Playing as an engineer/mechanic type character was fun and different. You are mostly traveling left to right solving some puzzle or platforming section, or some combination of the two. Lots of moving boxes around to climb over things, or jumping across conveyor belts, or finding items to fix some machine. It's largely clever and thematic, although what a difficult life the main character lives! I enjoyed the feeling of working these seemingly complicated machines and weapons in this world. There are occasionally vehicles you can control which are a nice change of pace. Nothing is too complicated or frustrating, and the game has a built in hint mechanic if you get stuck. Still some parts are challenging, but I managed to beat the game in less than 5 hours and I am not a particularly skillful gamer. Overall an experience worth having if, again, you are drawn to the aesthetic presented in the videos and pictures.

Игра довольно спорная , из разряда идея огонь , а реализация не очень , есть положительные стороны - рисовка , , повествование , отсылки , местами геймплей и музыка (которая начинает быстро надоедать если застрять на головоломке по дольше) Из плохого -1) головоломки тут в основном уровня игр "штирлиц", "колобки" и тд. , особенно у меня подгорало от все головоломок связанных с паровым кубом , 2) короткая игра - пол игры состоит из головоломок и платформинга , хотелось бы по больше лора , сюжета и раскрытия уровней . 3) по ощущения мало тестили игру - в некоторых местах прям сложно проходить(например где на вертолете надо пролететь через изгиб узкого тоннеля) 4) Неприятный левелдизайн - зачем то придуманы ненужные выступы и платформы которые тупиковые или недоступные , которые видимо для того чтобы запутать , дать лишнюю надежду на исследование локаций.
Не хочется ставить отрицательный, но негатив всё таки переваливает позитив. Игра Просто душная, нудная, гумозная. Для игры, в которой кроме как бегать и прыгать ничего нет, очень плохая физика персонажа. Разработчик вроде как что-то исправлял и балансил, но чек поинты все еще очень далеко друг от друга, учитывая, что игра не прощает ошибок абсолютно. Сюжета как такового нет, но вселенная игры интересная. Головоломка с 6 батарейками, где их надо поменять местами слишком сложная относительно остальных ребусов. Также, мало того, что развития механик нет с течением игрового процесса, так еще стоит забыть после трети игры о чем-то кроме бега и прыжка
Стиль игры - моё почтение.
Отличный квест-платформер с ламповой рисованной графикой в стиле дизельпанка. Некоторые головоломки сложноваты, но через некоторое количество секунд выскакивает подсказка, после этого обычно проходится без проблем. Платформинга тоже хватает. Сюжет подается в виде писем, которые приносят почтовые сороки. Мир погружен в войну, мы играем за маленького сообразительного человечка, подружка которого сидит в тюрьме и пытается сбежать. В игре потрясающая атмосфера, видно ,что сделана с душей! Отдельно хочется отметить разнообразие дизельпанковсковской техники, которую можно поюзать : вертолет,трактор,бронепоезд,парочка орудий. По скидке стоит копейки.
I received a review copy to play on stream and I liked it enough to play off stream. Some controls are a little clunky but puzzles are fun, story is simple but keeps moving. I played over 15 hours could probably be finished around 10 - 12 if you are fast.
Probudí se do hluku války, čte dopis od milované… popadne hasák, kladivo a vyráží na cestu. Hezká plošinovka s retro hádankami a puzzly zasazená do hand-drawn světa železa, oleje a kouře.
I don't recommend this game for the general audience, but if you are interested in game design / level design / art direction, it is a really interesting game to try to understand why it's not working. Overall: Feels like a game from the 90's. Made me sick after playing for 10 minutes. Also gave me an "outsider’s art" kind of vibes, which I appreciate.

Не мой жанр, но ставлю лайк за внимание к деталям, интересный сеттинг, забавного главного персонажа и вообще атмосферу. Минус за платформер.
