The Last Cat in the Universe

Quaint little game that delivers a short but fulfilling experience. The game can be beaten in a little more than 2 hours. It's a very low stress game. There's a quota to meet in order to take care of the cat, but unless you're deliberately trying to not meet quota, you will always meet it. It's a fairly simple gameplay loop. You mine, you spend resources for your drill, and you repeat. The upgrades do feel like you got significantly stronger, though I feel that the charged laser isn't the greatest upgrade. That upgrade probably needs to be tweaked - all it's really good for is to get a last-second high-level material at the end of the level. The scanner for finding the top layer becomes obsolete with support drones. The rest of the upgrades otherwise feel great. Overall, it's a good short incremental game with cute graphics and a bit of sad story. The entertainment's worth the money paid.

Genuinely an amazing game. I could not be happier with it. I have never played an incremental game with such a beautiful, well-thought story. Absolutely made me sob. Very highly recommend

Короткая игра, но с очень правильным посылом - наши жизни крайне скоротечны, и главное прожить хорошую, счастливую жизнь рядом с теми, кого любим. Простой, но вовлекающий геймплей, я даже не заметил, как пролетели эти два часа. Вставки истории из прошлого дают понять, что на самом деле произошло. Я плакал от разговора матери и дочери и рыдал от концовки. Очень душевная, эмоциональная игра. 9.3 из 10.

There's a cat. You cleanup after it. Sometimes it does stuff, usually it sleeps. Also, there's a cat in this game that does the same thing. There's also a mini-game? where you clear layers to gain upgrades and unlock more of the story. It's a little slow at the start, but it picks up. Typical for incremental. The uh..drone. haha, when I realized I was chasing a laser, I had to give this a thumbs up.

Astounding that there's no way to play with or pet the cat. Big oversight. Neat little incremental tho.
