Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.71/day in the week to Sep 1 → 39.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The world you knew is gone.
You awaken as the last active Caretaker, a machine built for one purpose: save humanity. Across a vast ocean covering the ruins of Earth, you must recover human seeds, restore the Lazarus Complex, and prepare the next generation for launch into orbit.
The Last Caretaker is a first-person survival-crafting game about systems, choices, and purpose. Every resource matters. Every structure has a reason to exist. Every success gives humanity one more chance.

Recover human seeds and return them to the Lazarus Complex. Manage their growth, restore memory data, and prepare them for life beyond Earth.
Scavenge abandoned facilities, dismantle wreckage, and recycle materials into tools, weapons, power networks, and essential modules. Restore the machinery needed to keep the mission alive.
Rogue machines, hostile systems and the world itself will push back. Repair and maintain, upgrade your equipment, and protect what remains.
Restore ancient launch infrastructure, chart the ocean, gather resources and memories, and send the humans you raised into orbit. The mission is not survival for its own sake. It is a continuation.
Explore silent Sanctuary docks, Refuel Outposts, Underwater cities, and long-forgotten Seed Vaults. The story is uncovered through places, logs, memories, and the remains of a civilization that tried to outlive its own world.

GAME DOESNT START, ive played for like hour and a half, decided to come back a while later and now it doesnt launch, it crashes everytime no matter what i change, ive tried every "solution" and nothing, and I cant get a refund cause its been more than a month since i bought it, the game was fine to play, but I CANT PLAY IT EDIT: After 2 hours i finally have found the way to make it work, if you have the same issue just type "-dx11" in the launch options and it will launch
This is a WALL-E simulator. The interface and controls are still a bit rough around the edges, but the visuals are top-notch. I hope everything gets polished by the time it’s released. The weather effects are simply magnificent; the fog and thunderstorms are outstanding. I even got lost during a storm and couldn't spot a point of interest, even though it was just five meters away from my boat.

Overall brilliant game, but still needs optimization it is really hurting my CPU but runs pretty well for a early access game developers listen and understand and respond. Content is always expanding there are one or 2 things that i would like to see them add but lets see!
I like the caretaking game.
The Good
The environmental storytelling is great, and the ambiance of the world is well done. Enemy design feels consistent, and the design accurately conveys threat (although one time I died but have no idea how, I think i got struck by lightning). I know that journal entry story time isn't everyone's cup of tea but I enjoy it, and I like the style of writing going on. I love how the logistics feel, especially in the beginning every watt is necessary, and nights feel scary if you haven't started using wind power. I also love that when you clear a section it stays cleared. It really feels like you're carving out a space for yourself and building a good network of locations
Things to Work On
The gunplay is lackluster. I like whats there so far, but it needs improvement. I feel like there's not enough feedback when I am hitting an enemy, There were times especially against the larger robots I wasn't sure if I was actually doing any damage. There's also a weird frame drop on the title screen. once i'm in the game it's fine its just the title screen
Wishlist
It would be nice to see either basewide resource sharing or some of mass relay that lets you extend the reach of your supplies. Especially the Lazarus complex which is very large it can be a bit of a pain to have to treat the upper and lower floors as distinct resource hubs.
Great game, deserves a thumbs up in all aspects expect how you save. Game uses save stations which itself is a fine, except currently the game crashes a lot wvwn on a good rig. So combine those two things and you have a recipe for losing hour of progress.

I love love love this game, it just draws you back in and also knowing that also not giving any spoilers as the story itself is amazing, but just the calmness of the ocean and hearing the ocean waves while traversing the seas while working towards restoring humanity is just amazing. Though the amount of times i use the petrol portable generator and having to use a L.O.T of bio materials is a... lot but that is one thing that would technically be trying to be better, but overall its a very calm and relaxing game. and i love it and can't wait to see for more updates
