Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.71/day in the week to Sep 1 → 39.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The world you knew is gone.
You awaken as the last active Caretaker, a machine built for one purpose: save humanity. Across a vast ocean covering the ruins of Earth, you must recover human seeds, restore the Lazarus Complex, and prepare the next generation for launch into orbit.
The Last Caretaker is a first-person survival-crafting game about systems, choices, and purpose. Every resource matters. Every structure has a reason to exist. Every success gives humanity one more chance.

Recover human seeds and return them to the Lazarus Complex. Manage their growth, restore memory data, and prepare them for life beyond Earth.
Scavenge abandoned facilities, dismantle wreckage, and recycle materials into tools, weapons, power networks, and essential modules. Restore the machinery needed to keep the mission alive.
Rogue machines, hostile systems and the world itself will push back. Repair and maintain, upgrade your equipment, and protect what remains.
Restore ancient launch infrastructure, chart the ocean, gather resources and memories, and send the humans you raised into orbit. The mission is not survival for its own sake. It is a continuation.
Explore silent Sanctuary docks, Refuel Outposts, Underwater cities, and long-forgotten Seed Vaults. The story is uncovered through places, logs, memories, and the remains of a civilization that tried to outlive its own world.

A solid survival game with a great atmosphere and some really nice visuals. The world itself is probably what I like most. Being able to freely control your boat and explore at your own pace makes exploring the flooded world pretty enjoyable. There are definitely quite a few bugs, but the game is still being actively updated and I've seen things improve over time, so I'm not too bothered by them for an Early Access game. My main complaint is the performance. I understand that the visuals and scale of the game are demanding, but the game feels a bit too heavy at times and could definitely use more optimization. Overall, the atmosphere and exploration are good enough to keep me interested, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it improves with future updates.

This Games is amazing. This game is fun on so many levels.
FUN
Oui
Brilliant game, great concept. Be ready to lose days playing this. Cant wait for the full release however the BETA version is pretty damn good on its own.
The game is tons of fun and looks beautiful. Just be warned that the graphics still need a ton of optimizing. I have played for 30 hours at the point of making this review and I've had 1 crash from heavy GPU load. I am averaging 70-100fps on high graphic settings and my GPU is constantly at 95-99% usage. I've noticed that the main menu is the most taxing on things. GPU goes to constant 100% usage in main menu. Long story short get the game its awesome. Just make sure you have a system that is far better than recommended specs to overcome the optimization issues.
I like this game because you do not get bored, lots of challenges. Would love to create other robots to help around, like carrier bots or repair bots
great
The feel of this game is on point, especially In first person when driving the ship! It feels like I'd expect it to, having been on a tug of that size, I can almost feel the lurch of the engine. This is a fantastic work/cosy game with puzzle and action elements wrapped in. At this point in time I have put in 10 hours and only just got to the third location as I have been salvaging everything I can find, exploring air ducts and hidden locations, sorting my new finds and adding them to my growing 'treasure' pile. I could have got to this point in the story in less than an hour if I had focused, but, for me, that is not the point of the game, the immersion is. Take your time, enjoy being at sea.
