About
Lured in by shared nightmares, madmen travel to a remote island crowned by a silent Tower. No one remembers the journey.
The Lantern of the Laughless Saint is an open world RPG built around exploration and connection. You learn the land by walking it, following rumors, reading scraps of burned history, and meeting lost souls who wandered to the ends of the Earth, following the same feverish dream of a light buried beneath the Tower.
Somewhere in the depths is a theater with an empty stage, waiting for an audience. As you repair or ruin the lives of the island's inhabitants, the phantoms they leave behind take their seats in the audience. The more seats you fill, the more the island listens, and the greater the applause for your final act.
And if you don’t want to descend alone, you don’t have to. The entire game is fully playable in co-op: explore the island together, delve into the depths for treasures, and make the choices that will decide the fate of everyone on the island, and beyond...
A wild, ancient island to explore
Follow leads, find shortcuts into the Tower, stumble into side stories, and piece together what is real and what is mere delusion.
Open Ended
Most quests have multiple resolutions. Mercy, violence, compromise, deceit.
A large cast of bizarre characters
Many strange folk find their home on the island. A giant toad learning to read. An ancient skeleton who just wants to swim. A musician from a faraway land hunts for something precious. Everyone has a theory for why you’re here. None of them agree.
The Amphitheater
Your choices change the world. Treat others with kindness and generosity, and a trusted friend will take their seat in your audience. Fail or abuse them, and something darker takes their place. The House fills either way.
Visceral Combat with multiple weapon types
Punchy combat against strange horrors
Full co-op
Play the whole game together. Explore the world, share the spoils, and decide who you will become, because the consequences belong to all of you.
The Tower does not call the whole. It calls the broken, the wanting.
Fill the seats. Start the performance. Find out what is buried at the bottom of the well.

For the little bit I have played I enjoyed this. If you have a lower end GPU even if the performance is good Going into the inventory lowers the textures and it is very off putting tbh. I will wait until they get a fix in to truly play it. If you have a good PC I would give it a go for sure. Just know it is like Old Morrowind where you had to actually follow the directions. It gives no Waypoints.
me senti como la primera vez jugando a morrwind sin saber nada de donde ir muriendo contra esqueletos y caminando por el mapa XD juegazo con graficos hermosos y una jugabilidad 10/10 mejor rpg de 2026

Extremely EA at the time of writing, but absolutely perfect for scratching that skyrim itch. Cool map design, cool lore, goofy mechanics to play around with, just good stuff all around. If you can stomach the jank or are even a little endeared by it like me, go ahead and play it now. If not, the devs are working fast to stabilize the game, so keep an eye on it!
This game is fun particularly with friends! also its very important to enable quest markers.
It's pretty good with the 6 hours i have on it so far my main gripes are that the combat (sword-wise) can feel kinda janky like maybe its the range? I feel like i have to be within kissing distance of them to hit anything. The graphics are amazing just sometimes the textures look out of place like the biggest example is an area called Syd-Notsa that just looks straight out of a unity asset rip or something or its badly textured like its pixelated but not like stylized pixelated just unfinished looking. The water looks really nice but when you go in it there is literally nothing to the point its uncanny some vegetation or like small background fish would be nice to have. Other than those main three gripes its fantastic what has been accomplished so far makes me look forward to future updates and possible DLC.
A heady mix of Gothic, Morrowind, Pathologic, and Xenoclash. Captures the magic of old school weird RPGs while doing its own thing. Writing and world building is top notch and you can tell they have a clear vision of the world and your characters place in it. If you're tired of generic open world games and want something fresh, look no further
I wasn't expecting it to be very good. It has a good story line and game play is fun. Early access does have a few minor bugs but seems to be frequent updates.
Love it but i do kind of hope there's some refinement in the future. Maybe a bit of help with quest searches but i understand its kinda supposed to be this way.
10/10 Grand and intoxicating
atm it is a preety cool game, and looks like the small team behind keeps working hard on it to make it better. Now we just have to wait and see how it ends, but it has had a very good start.
