About

You are a highly qualified, sharp-witted astrobiologist named Yasna. Being entangled in a space race, you and your crew end up on the unexplored planet Regis III. The scientific journey quickly turns into a search mission for lost crewmates. Follow its trail, but be fully aware that every decision you make can bring you closer to danger.

On her journey, Yasna will face decisions that will shape the outcome of the story. Help her make difficult choices and witness one of 11 possible endings to the deeply philosophical story.
Discover fragments of what’s lost and report to your Astrogator. Let his voice aid you during hard times when humanity’s greatest threat emerges. The latter will force you to rethink mankind’s ambitions and biases. Go on - make decisions, follow the mystery… but remember not to underestimate the brutal simplicity and brilliance of evolution.

Robots, people… Choose whether to interact with different creatures on Regis III or how to do it. Friend, companion? Enemy? You never suspected what these words might really mean before you got here.
Immerse yourself in the atompunk atmosphere by using various tools, such as a telemeter or a tracker, and drive a vehicle through a stunning landscape. Experience realistic interactions with analogue technologies in a retro futuristic timeline.

The Invincible is a first-person game based on the motifs of The Invincible - an iconic novel of the world-known, hard science-fiction author and Polish futurologist Stanisław Lem.
There are places like Regis III, not prepared for us and for which we are not prepared. Still, our spacecraft inevitably comes closer to the destination - for our stories and fates to cross in a dead spot.

Summary: Gorgeous setting for a slow paced, narrative driven walking simulator. Most players are going to find this game incredibly boring. Full disclosure, I did fall asleep in the final act while playing. There are several moments throughout the game where it feels like there is some kind of danger or suspense, but many of those moments just fizzle out. I found the ending in particular to be very lackluster (there are 11 endings, I have heard the others are similarly abrupt). That said there is a particular type of gamer who will enjoy this game. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and it's not hard to get immersed in the story. If you're very into hard science fiction literature and don't mind a meandering pace, then you'll probably appreciate this game. This game is a prequel to the book "The Invincible" and this game should be treated as an appetizer to the book. If you want an immersive walking simulator experience though, I'd recommend Firewatch over this game for all but the most hard core sci-fi fans.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really enjoyed this game. I have not read the literature. If you are looking for a nice sci-fi mystery narrative that is majorly dialogue and walking/driving and some choices to make along the way, I think this is worth picking up. The visual designs were nice and the music fit right in. I think the voice acting was stellar and carried a lot of the weight. It's very much a dialogue-heavy game as a narrative, and I think the writing was interesting. There are some branching decisions you can make so far as I could tell, and plenty of minor expressions through dialogue-- though in terms of exploration/navigation I think the game was generally quite linear (which is fine). Something that was difficult to get used to is the game constantly indicates to you where to look and where to click, when to hold W in this 'cutscene'. It can be a bit much but I admit I'd be a little lost with some things if it weren't there. I had a good amount of times where the game would skip dialogue if I advanced a checkpoint too quickly and that was always a bit disappointing, and I don't think I was rushing through the game. I made an effort to not sprint too much or drive too much to avoid this but sometimes it'd still happen. The game didn't perform all to well for me-- there was near constant hitching (I am guessing from textures regularly streaming in?) but I was able to ignore it. A few times there was also an issue with the way the floor rendered in a few areas, laying a flickering grid pattern over the ground of an entire exterior. This very well could have been my machine. There were a few other visual hiccups with the first-person model that were not my machine but are infrequent and hardly noticeable.
Story and gameplay wise, I enjoyed myself. Completed the game and replayed the last save to get the other ending possibilities. The characters and story were good and the voice acting was very well done. I have no complaints on this front. The one issue I have was performance. I checked and from my understanding I, at least, hit mid between the min and recommended specs, however, I still experienced lagging/freezing and choppy cutscenes. They never lasted long but it was still not great. In the long run, I want to recommend this game to anyone who enjoys mostly linear storytelling and "walking simulator" type games. It just comes with a caveat that you might encounter sections that need a bit of patience. I have not gotten all the achievements but I do think I like this game enough that I would look into getting them at a later date. (Note: I personally am mostly chill about lagging and freezing. The game was in no way highstakes enough to make this a major issue, but if that's something that's gonna set you off lol, just don't get it)
May work better for visual novel fans. 4 hours in I don't feel like I can point to a meaningful choice.
Good walking sim, it really sells the atmosphere & vibe of the older sci-fi books, also got me curious about the book it's inspired by. Played it through twice because I was curious about alternative options.
