I was waiting for this game ever since I had heard about Type Help, but couldn't get into the text based interface. This was so worth the wait! Absolute masterpiece of a puzzle game that hooked me in and didn't let me go. One of those games I wish I could play again for the first time.
This game was fantastic! My partner and I played it all in one sitting, and it took a long time but we sure loved it. The non-linear-ish narrative, the deduction mechanics, all of it was great. I loved the Roottrees Are Dead and this follows a similar sort of gameplay with a bit less clicking (no journals or websites this time) and a more supernatural flare, and it was unique, engaging, challenging and rewarding to play. My only actual critique is one little fiddly moment at the end, which was so infuriating it remains one of only a very few negatives for a game that is overwhelmingly awesome, and it is the very last set of coordinates with the, let's say, "Original group" of 11.
how in the WORLD did anyone playtest this and decide, "Sure, you have to name this one character as Person K, even though you know her name by the point you have to use it for the final "scene" to view. She gives her name as Katherine Beaumont, I've never once had to change the calibration from a number to a letter, so why would I know to do that? It should work with her name, because no other person needs a special label and so it just kept coming up as nothing when it should have shown the last scene. Either don't have her give her name so we don't know it (knowing it means I am going to call her that! That's what the name field is for!) or before that bit, have SOMETHING that indicates you might need to change from numbers to letters because otherwise, it wasn't something I was going to do since the default of the numbers worked just fine. This was so frustrating because we did the whole game without a single hint and had to use them for this, and it wasn't that we didn't know the answer, it was just the input was suddenly completely different than the entirety of the gameplay beforehand. A baffling choice, and it soured us a bit but we did get right back into giddy at playing through the final "group" of people and their stories.
All in all, if you like puzzle games, deductive reasoning games, fun stories with cool visuals and unique gameplay, you'd be silly to miss this one. It's as close to perfect as a game can get, honestly, if I had to rate it I'd give it a 9/10 -- my only dings are for the aforementioned input thing, and I probably didn't LOVE the voice acting as much as I would have liked, but these are really minor things that should in no way keep anyone from playing this gem. Games like this are so fun and i hope to see more from these devs, I'm a fan!

Pretty good.
Another great game by this developer. Love the concept. The story is super interesting and, just like The Roottrees are Dead, the whole game is one big detective puzzle. Highly recommended.
Amazing narrative puzzle game. The ending was a liiiiittle bit contrived but I would love to see more games like this.
