The Incident at Galley House

通关过原作Type Help，比起原版有两个优点吧。第一个是操作方面，不可否认第一次玩原版用搜索框来推理真的惊艳到我了，但后面对着一个搜索框来回用也是真坐牢，不得不用草稿纸，本作对于操作上的优化很好，很方便查询过去的事情和推理后面的事情。第二个是画面和配音，有了这两个体验更好，可以从语气中听出更强烈的恐惧与绝望，不用盯着满屏的黑白看到眼睛阵痛。但后面续写的这个故事有点一般，[spoiler]原作中最后打破第四面墙告诉你：你也了解了故事，也将被诅咒。很有后劲细思极恐。但本作却最后解决了诅咒，割裂感很强。但教堂自焚前的独白还是挺有感触的，这点给个好评。[/spoiler]这点我是不满意的。总之对比原作免费剧本现成的情况下，76的定价确实过高，建议骨折后再入手。

Just like everyone else says, if you enjoyed The Roottrees are Dead and Return of the Obra Dinn, then this is the next game you need to play.

The Incident at Galley House is not a particularly mind-bending puzzle game. The deductions that game has you make are clever, but nothing that I haven't seen other detective games do better. The way you uncover new clues is fairly simplistic, and it does very little to change up the format of puzzle solving that is initially introduced. However, the Incident at Galley House is an absolutely fantastic MYSTERY game. The game sets up a very simple, yet intriguing scenario and leaves piecing together the events and facts of this game down to your own observation skills and curiosity. From that point on, you are sent on an absolutely wild flurry of obscured information, great character moments, and alarming discoveries. This game is very smart in how it always holds information [i]just out of reach[/i] from you at all times, and I found myself deeply engrossed at almost all times. The Incident at Galley House never bars you from progress or overreaches on its meta-game elements. Everything about the mechanics of this game is balanced just right for you to get lost in the mystery here. If my gushing doesn't make this obvious, any mystery game fan owes it to themselves to give this title a shot.

Had an absolutely great time getting this cleared across 3 nights. Played on Steam Machine on the couch and it was great! Busting out a pencil and paper and testing theories and seeing some of them payoff is a big treat.
