Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 11 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

The CHALLENGE CREATOR is a major update to THE HORDE WANTS YOU DEAD that allows you to setup challenges how you want to. This isn't just about tweaking how big the horde is or how strong enemies are, instead we've exposed most of the game's systems to the Challenge Creator. Create extreme setups, go crazy OP, make fiendishly difficult challenges - The game is entirely in your hands!

THE HORDE WANTS YOU DEAD is a chaotic shoot'em up where you and your squad must survive against hundreds and thousands of angry and fearless enemies. The game is designed to be a challenging experience throughout - you won't find "survivors-like" OP upgrades or magical abilities here - it's just you, your weapon, some grenades and your teammates, as you use all your skill and focus to defeat ever more difficult horde onslaughts.

Test your skills over 5 levels of challenge, with increasing horde size, new enemy types and new weapons. Keep your bullets flying, throw grenades at large groups, roll away from danger. Learn and adapt to different enemies. Use all the tools at your disposal to match their quickly overwhelming numbers. And when you're ready, try Endless mode and see how long you can survive!

Gather your friends and play in 4-player online co-op. Strategize with your squad to focus on tougher enemies or try to split up the horde around the map. Keep each other alive and you might just stand a chance!

With full ragdoll physics for all enemies, send bodies and dismembered limbs flying through the air with a perfectly placed grenade. Watch as blood spurts out from every hit, slash and bullet hole, dynamically covering the arena. Gaze upon the scarred battlefields, littered with cracks and scorch marks - you could almost call it art!

Collect coins from downed enemies to earn supply crates with a selection of upgrades. From more health and faster movement to stronger grenades and lower cooldowns, improve your character and increase your fire power to keep up with the horde. Supplies are limited so pick wisely!

Fighting the horde is hard work but it pays off. Receive XP from kills, assists and wins, level up to gain skill points and then use them to permanently upgrade a stat of your choosing. Every little bit helps!

picked up 4 copies when it was on sale for maybe $2? only played with my roommate thus far but it's actually a pretty fun little "turn off your brain and hangout" type of game. again, I paid less than the base price for all four copies, so on sale I would absolutely say it is worth it for some decent little fun with some friends. I will say, it doesn't add almost anything new to the equation, incremental meta progression is always annoying as well, but once more, on sale this is definitely worth it if you have friends to play it with. if not, and you are interested, add me, I'm an old head(37) with autism and I have a severe case of TBI so I am OFTEN ready and willing for a sesh. hope y'all are well.
You only have to look at the completely empty online lobbies to realise its died a death... Its great fun, but there's very little reason to continue once you've got to the higher levels with the "better" guns... looking at the other feed back which i do agree with, there are a lot of little changes they could make to increase the replay ability of the title and get players back to playing it...

Achievements are bound to co-op, and the game is dead.
Really addictive game. Confused why it has mixed, perhaps I am late to the show and missed something but I think it's a great little game. I think for the current price of £6 it's worth it and online coop is really good too. Well optimized too, no UE5 slop, getting well over 200fps consistently. Buy with confidence.
Update: do not buy this game expecting new content, updates, balance changes or any involvement from devs. This project is dead. Game is decent but KNOW that what you're getting into is as-is and devs have stated there are no plans to do anything more with it as they're pursuing other projects.
This game at a glance looks super fun, and it kind of is, until you play for 45 minutes, then it gets super repetitive and boring, you start noticing that the character's upgrades do not really make a noticeable difference in gameplay. The difference between the crate upgrades from common to legendary is far too big in my opinion, I have not tested or played with a squad but frankly I don't even want to try, the fact that you can't beat the lone wolf campaign with any weapon you want says a lot about the development of the game. It's just not tested, they don't care enough to actually test the game for single player let alone make updates for content, instead of coming up with new ideas to make the game fun, they added a sandbox... really? Don't buy the game, save yourself the 10 bucks or whatever it is now, go buy some taco bell, the ♥♥♥♥ you will take would be far more rewarding than this game promises to be.
I actually enjoy the simplicity of this game. it lacks content but the top-down physics and gun play feel near perfect. as always, it's better with friends.
Not even lying, the most addictive game I've probably ever played. Too addictive. Simple and fun, lots of replayability, reminds me of old-school flash games like Boxhead. So damn difficult past challenge 3. Love it!
First of all, from the bottom of my cold dark edgy heart to the dev/devs. This game is something many games can never be, good old simple fun. However, it is also not finished even tho it is not far from being really good. Imo in just 2 or 3 weeks of work it could go up by good 10-15% on steam. Either way i got it on discount and in that price it is more than worth it in current state. My lil wish is that dev can finish the job, because he clearly broke under criticism.
There’s a lack of content. Enemies don't differ much, and new unlockable weapon types are just copies of the old ones. Meta-progression feels like a token addition—it marginally boosts the numbers without adding any gameplay variety. It feels more like a demo than a full-fledged game.
