Genuinely really fun, interesting game! My only actual complaint would be that the looping, while integral to the story (obviously with the name), did get tedious after a while especially if you kept dying to tasks that weren't new (I'm looking at Chef Sauer) The story was so interesting, character design, and voice acting too good to keep me from liking this game though. It has been recommended to me for years, and I'm glad I finally played it to check it out!

A fun little lite-horror game that balances it's comedic elements well along side it's horror pretty well. Though it's never out-and-out scary (as someone who gets afraid at most horror games), there are some tense and unsettling moments interspersed within characters with goofy gimmicks, trash eating, and patients in desperate need of toilet paper. It does tow pretty close to the line of being too immature, it never crosses over, but there is some grace given with the fact that hospitals can easily be twisted into a truly disgusting place so it's more gross-out elements aren't unwarranted. As a game, Heilwald has some puzzles but most of the game boils down to the Outlast run-and-hide style of horror. There's some minor item collection to solve simple puzzles, and some trial-and-error pathfinding in regards to going back to stages to see how they can play out differently to progress to different areas, but on the most part you will be running away from the weirdos who make up the staff at this hospital. Heilwald is a short game and perfect for someone who can't handle too serious horror, with Halloween right around the corner this is a fun game to play with friends in a discord call.

Lots of secrets. I missed a whole area. Weird atmosphere and disturbing yet kind of funny stuff happening. Strange game but I liked it nonetheless.

What a game. I absolutely love it. I love the whole core idea and that dying isn't necessarily bad. The design of the characters - how they walk and speak and open doors - is so full of love and creativity. It's fantastic. The flair of the game is also great. (Not least due to the fantastic characters.) I had a lot of fun discovering all the secrets, did only wish there was an option to skip dialogue. And not that you need to listen all over again to things you already know. That's a tiny bit annoying (especially when you need a lot of attempts), but otherwise it is a brilliant game.

Very enjoyable little horror game. A few moments of not knowing where to go or what to do but the game does try to point you in the correct direction. Worth a buy and a play.
