About

Scavenge and fight for your next day alive under the shadow of gargantuan war machines. Enemies in the game can literally tower over the battlefield. To put it another way:

The battlefield is unpredictable thanks to The Forever Winter’s Dynamic Encounter system: enemies have their own goals and agendas, operating in coordinated groups, undertaking full-scale battles — and they’ll intelligently react to your actions. The battlefield you leave won’t be the same one you return to.
Use your wits, stealth, and skilled gunplay to make it out alive. Choose your path in the shadow of the two great superpowers, loot the dead, and make it out alive. While the warring factions may ignore you at first, the more disruptive you become to their goals, the more they'll seek to remove you from the equation.
Ecological collapse compounded by runaway technological advancement brought us here: a dystopian world choked by 40 years of industrial-scale violence between two military superpowers, AI automata, cybernetically enhanced soldiers, human-machine hybrids, and relentless automated warfare. There's two sides to this war, and you're not on either.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I love this game! The atmosphere, the gunplay, the map design! And the way the maps change, you just never get tired of it. This is a dark, nightmarish vision of the future and I love it. Dont even get me started on the music. What a soundtrack! I cant recommend this game enough! I was so impressed by the world that I sat and watched an hourlong youtube video about The Forever Winters lore.
Game is good (it's buggy tho) I really like this game, but it has it's issues... here are some examples: -Enemies getting stuck in the environment -You getting stuck in the environment -Some specific objects may be missing collision meshes -AI navigation could use some improvement -Weapon mods displaying incorrectly on game models Despite these things I find the game to be quite enjoyable, and it's currently one of my favorite games to play even in it's current state. I'm looking forward to enjoying more of this game, though i really hope they focus on the bugs before full release and fix everything. My Opinion: I think this is a great game, I've always wanted a pve focused extraction game that can be played solo or with friends and this is wonderful. I'm glad I decided to finally pick this one up, I had always been on the fence about this game due to it's poor initial release, however I would say it's in a very playable state just some particular bugs that really stand out. It has it's ups and downs, but that's what makes it special. I would recommend this game to people who like a gritty apocalypse setting with some thrilling tactical fps gameplay.
This game is fun, it's also jank, it's also good.. It makes you feel like you are a part of something, they nailed the vibe. It makes you feel like you are suffering through this with everyone else. I like the text and art aesthetic. It needs lots of work, Thankfully that work is happening. Because of the lobby system and how it works and how nice everyone ingame is, I doubt this game can be 'truely dead'. The dev team is very small, This is a passion project. I will be checking in on it every once in awhile to see how its coming along. You are paying for a ticket to ride, the destination is a good game, there is a good game in here somewhere. It's a cheap ticket all things considered. 7/10 in its current state.
Malísima optimización ... Tengo r9 5950x 32gb ram 24gb vram. M2. Y me funciona.
THE VIBE!
Concept good. Gameplay fun. Is a very good game. Highly recommended. Take it slow, enjoy the scenerie. Get back alive. Do not be a Hero. I Love it.
I really enjoy the game so far, it's fun, aesthetically it's incredible and I know everything is only getting better from this point. My main issue so far has nothing to do with the combat and stealth mechanics, it's easy to learn the basics and not die to enemies after the first hour or two. My issue is that in the tunnels, you have absolutely no idea what giant pipes and platforms are usable and which are outside of the map. You go to jump on what you think is the right path out and instantly fall to your death. I'm glad you at least know what direction the extraction points are in, but in the 3-dimensional maze of the tunnels, you're still going to get lost way more than I think is reasonable
