A wizard academy management sim where you—an obviously benevolent professor—must manage & cast spells on your many apprentices so that they might study the right spells… and perhaps even survive the researching process. Some may die, but oh well, can’t save them all!

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

The Fool's Apprentice is a magic school simulator that puts you in the position of Arcanist Tharn, a mage from a prestigious family by the same name. As this accomplished wizard, you will shepherd your many woefully unskilled apprentices towards a modicum of knowledge... by ensuring they cannot possibly step outside the bounds of proper curriculum. Levitate them, toss them around, control their minds or wipe them, and even throw them into portals to other worlds!
The good apprentices will survive, surely. As for the bad, what can a professor do?

Plot the future of magic at the helm of your Conservatory, through the following tools:
Enroll new apprentices under your tutelage, managing their skills, directing their studies with spells, and steering them away from an accidental demise!
Build Research, and use it to upgrade magical workstations or unlock new sciences!
Respond to Dilemmas, as the choices you make for your Arcane Conservatory shape the future of mankind in this new age of magic & science!
Kidnap citizens for experimentation.
Earn the love of the public for the wonderous scientific advancements brought to the sun-kissed canal city of Golryon! But be careful, withholding every bit of magic from the public might lead them to riot!

A new age dawns! Arcanoscience, and its related fields of mago-mechanical study, has been discovered, and as engineering marvels both profound in their spellcraft and ingenious in their design are constructed... it has come time for the next generation of apprentices.
One wizened Arcanist shall teach them... You!
Strategize and construct the ideal Conservatory, choosing fields of magical study to focus upon, arcane workstations of varying risk, effect, and difficulty, and decorations both cosmetic and of eldritch power!
Manage & Cast Spells On each and every apprentice, directing them away from such foolish things as "ambition", and "artistic passion," towards the most socially acceptable magicks... or defy the Arcane Conservatory itself and spread magic among the people!
Decorate and customize your own Arcane Conservatory in this wizard academy Simulator!
Engage in the Narrative-driven ebb and flow of the demands of the magocratic city of Golryon. One day the Conservatory might request increased production of elemental cannons; and on the next the Duke might demand that you teach magic to a distant cousin!
Try not to be imprisoned for criminal arcane malpractice.

The Fool's Apprentice returns to The Planar Danse once again, the connected universe of Apollyon, Skulltide, and Spirit's Almanac, the previous games and novel set within the same world. It is endlessly replayable, but all unlocks can be unlocked in ~8 hours of play.
Build the future of magic, today!

I have played this game for 77min and have encountered 3 errors that say fatal error. There may be a good game in there but the instability of the game kills it. It has an interesting premise and i love the research angle. The UI is terrible. This has not been patched in a while, stay away from this game.
Love the visuals and interesting concept with sacrificial apprentices to increase your research power without endangering yourself. Not a fan of too much micro-managing but found that you can just keep recruiting apprentices and let the bad ones sort themselves out (i.e. turn into frogs and/or die horribly) A few minor bugs and some gameplay pain points (like not as much progress being saved between runs as I'd prefer) but the developers seem to be addressing quickly and releasing regular updates Overall a fun little distraction.

It takes a second to get a hang of guiding the apprentices towards a viewing, but there's a delightful sort of chaos. Apprentices turning to frogs and strange magical activities. I love the light academia coded aesthetics, pretty art deco patterns, and mysterious runes. Super pretty game and admirable creation for a small team. I find it works best for me at medium quality 30fps, but I could be running it on a better system. Totally worth the purchase, esp if they keep adding more scenarios and ways to decorate. The devs seem invested in making a good game and I haven't run into any extreme bugs, so hopefully any bugs others encounter will be resolved quickly. But overall love the look of this game and am excited to see more from the planar danse.
Chill music and vibes. Pretty graphic and design. I like the character's costumes especially.
You grab a bunch of tiny people, throw them in the hallway, then watch them turn into frogs and stand there forever. Sometimes, one of them die. While this into might appeal to some, personally I still don't understand what I'm supposed to do in the game. Reading through the library didn't help but proceeded to confuse me even more. The music and the visuals are pretty good and chill, which is the only positive comment I can make so far. I'm guessing the author is not a native English speaker. Maybe they need help to write clear and concise information, because right now it's a bit of a rambling of fancy and magic-ish words that explain very little.
The graphic and aesthetic of this game is so on point. Wizard school simulation is such an unique idea! It's a nice game when you just want to relax after a long day at work. I just got the game and can't wait to immerse in the game for hours!
So far, enjoying this game. I found this game an interesting twist on the old concept of a mage school . I was surprised on the unique visual design elements . After reading through the help section I figured out that my initial expectation on the strategy was way off. After that I enjoyed pushing the students around. I did get over zealous on the use of disintegration on them so had to back off that, lol.
게임 작동 방법이 쉬워서 좋음. 게임 아이템이 다양하고 그래픽이 자연스러움
