Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Build, Trade, Thrive: Your Medieval VR Adventure Awaits
The First Settlement VR is an evolving VR city builder focused on sandbox-style town building, management, and atmosphere. There is currently no traditional, fully scripted story campaign, the focus is on freely building and developing your town. New systems, buildings, and features are being added over time.
Step into the medieval world of The First Settlement VR, where your vision shapes the future of your own town. Start from the ground up and choose from over 50 unique buildings that shape your settlement’s economy and daily life. Build homes for ordinary citizens and unlock a new tier of inhabitants merchants, who bring prosperity but also require their own specialised buildings, services, and a considerably higher standard of living.
Each map also features its own monumental landmark building, such as a palace or fortress. This long-term construction project is completed across six individualtsix separate stages, growing visibly with every finished section. To complete it, you will need to expand your production, gather sufficient resources, and continue developing your settlement.
As your town grows, so does your perspective. Walk the streets in immersive first-person and move among your inhabitants, or rise high above the rooftops to oversee production chains, districts, and the layout of your town from a strategic vantage point. Experience your settlement through a full day and night cycle as the lighting and atmosphere change over time. Switch seamlessly between ground-level immersion and elevated planning to shape your settlement exactly as you envision it.
Engage in trade with neighbouring towns to secure scarce resources or sell your surplus for profit. The warehouse management system lets you decide which goods each warehouse should prioritise. This allows you to direct the flow of goods more effectively and store important resources closer to where they are needed.
You can also manage buildings that produce finished goods. Mark completed products for collection and view production and storage information directly at each building. Balance the basic needs of your citizens with the more sophisticated expectations of your merchants as you produce everything from essential foodstuffs to sought-after luxury goods.
In this VR experience, you are not merely an overseer managing everything from a distance, but a visible part of the community. Walk through the streets, observe your surroundings and inhabitants, and experience the direct consequences of every decision you make.
Ongoing updates will continue to expand the game with additional buildings, systems, and inhabitants’ needs, shaped in part by player feedback. If you would like to see what we are working on next, you can find the current roadmap and join the conversation with the community on our Discord.

Just hopped in and played for 30 minutes to test and seems to be everything as advertised so far. Performance is great with ultra settings on Quest 3, 12600K / 4070 Super, Virtual Desktop. Had about 25 buildings with several people walking around, no stutters at all and solid framerate. Some of the graphic setting such as footsteps didn't seem to be showing up but nothing game breaking so far. The graphics could use some tweaks as well, seems to be something "off" with them no matter low or ultra. Also only 1 save file right now, hopefully this can be increased. If you want a chill casual city builder in VR this is probably for you. Nothing fancy just a simple game.
I was looking forward for the release of the game. So I was really excited when I finally got the notification that it was out. And what can I say – the anticipation was absolutely justified. This is a game that, for a change, isn’t about fighting or conflict. Instead, it’s all about doing something good for your villagers. You're welcomed by a relaxing soundtrack and immediately get to take your first steps in this peaceful world – deciding where to place your buildings and in what order to expand. It’s really satisfying to watch your village grow and see the villagers going about their daily routines. It’s the perfect game to unwind with after work, letting you simply relax and stroll through the little world you've created. Of course, it’s still in alpha, so not everything is perfect yet – but with a look at the roadmap, many improvements are already in progress and will make the experience even more polished over time. Clear recommendation from me for anyone who enjoys city-building games and wants to take a break from everyday life with a few relaxing minutes of gameplay.

A cool game with relaxing background music. Perfect for switching off and escaping reality. Colorful design, not perfect everywhere, but incredibly well done. From the point at which the needs of the citizens increase, you really have to pay a bit of attention to satisfy them. Very well implemented with changing music and visual signals. I'm looking forward for many hours of fun :-)
The First Settlement VR offers a relaxing and immersive city-building experience in a charming medieval setting. Building and managing your settlement in VR feels intuitive and engaging, with great attention to detail and atmosphere. A very enjoyable experience for VR and strategy fans.
Great indie game! I felt like I was placed into a 1st person version of “The Settlers” (I loved playing Settlers II in the 90s). When the game is started, you are asked to choose the difficulty by the amount of starting money you’re given. Ballsy, I chose the lowest amount (you know, experience and stuff) and let’s just say I’m happy the villager’s disappointment didn’t lead to my crucifixion. Starting with enough money gives you the time and calm to build in peace that I was looking for in the beginning. In my 3rd round I started experimenting with roads, structuring my village and developing it into a striving city, since my first two attempts were kind of messy. Much better now! The overview is handy (just literally look at the back of your hands), and it’s fun building and expanding. If only those villagers wouldn’t need so much alcohol and tobacco, these greedy addicts! Sure, there’s always potential to improve, but I see this as a benefit of indie games, being able to give suggestions to the developer that are impossible to do for triple A games. I’ll now check out the next update, let’s see what this will bring!
Gefällt mir sehr gut. Steuerung und Grafik sind absolut Perfekt. Macht riesig Spaß und ist total Entspannend. Lob an den Entwickler. Hoffe kommt noch was an Updates.
This game offers a relaxing VR experience for players who enjoy building and peaceful village creation. The colorful graphics and calm, soothing soundtrack contribute to a tranquil atmosphere. With a focus on settlement-building without conflict, it provides a refreshing escape. While there is room for small improvements, the overall experience is promising, and it has the potential for many enjoyable hours in the future. The first impression is positive.
I lasted about seven minutes. Looks and feels like Baby's First VR Game. The tutorial doesn't actually teach you much and when I tried to interact with the first and only 'most important' building I accidentally deleted it. Couldn't figure out how to rebuild the damn thing. I had high hopes for this and it ended up being so disappointingly subpar I had to give up. It needs a LOT of work to even be palatable. I've played games on the original Atari that explained things better. If they can figure out what an interface is and how they're supposed to work, and get a tutorial that actually tutors players by giving details instead of just vaguely gesturing into the distance (seriously, "that building over there" on a text window that makes you face a different direction?), then maybe this could be a lot of fun. Not to mention movement speed was painfully slow. I'm old, crippled, and half blind and I can shuffle faster than movement in this game. Even your in-game perspective is wrong; either your face is practically hugging the dirt or you're ten feet tall. Pick a lane or pick a decent middle. I really hope it gets better someday. But as of right now? It's a "Haha No.". It's *Refunded After SEVEN Minutes* bad. Heartbreaking.
