Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

About
Program a drone using a simple python-like language to fully automate various farming tasks that would otherwise be very grindy. Feel the satisfaction of simply pressing "execute" and watching your drone do all the hard work.
Unlike most programming games the game isn't divided into distinct levels that you have to complete but features a continuous progression.
Farming earns you resources which can be spent to unlock new technology.
Programming is done in a simple language similar to Python. The beginning of the game is designed to teach you all the basic programming concepts you will need by introducing them one at a time.
While it introduces everything that is relevant, it won't hold your hand when it comes to solving the various tasks in the game. You will have to figure those out for yourself, and that can be very challenging if you have never programmed before.
If you are an experienced programmer, you should be able to get through the early game very quickly and move on to the more complex tasks of the later game, which should still provide interesting challenges.
Although the programming language isn't exactly Python, it's similar enough that Python IntelliSense works well with it. All code is stored in .py files and can optionally be edited using external code editors like VS Code. When the "File Watcher" setting is enabled, the game automatically detects external changes.

This game not only helped me secure a job, but also made me love coding! The Farmer was Replaced is a fantastic game that holds your hand while you take your first steps in programing! It not only makes it a simple, easy to learn programing game, but even encourages you to research the thing you are coding if you don't know what it does! And it even encourages you to optimize code to maximize profits! The best part? You will learn much more then you think you will learn, from maze solvers using DLS, to literally coding sorting algorithms for cactus! This game even has its own leaderboards (like any good game would)! The helpful community of this game will also help give a jump start to any new-comers to programing! You can read guides that tell what code you need, AND tell you how it works, so you can learn from it! TLDR: I recommend this game to kids, teens, and adults if they want to learn programing in a fun way!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you're learning Python and looking for something to reinforce what you're studying, I'd highly recommend this game. I've been using it alongside other learning resources, and it's been a fantastic way to put concepts into practice. Solving problems in a game has helped me better retain what I've learned outside of text-based coding exercises. That said, I'd offer one caveat: if you've never looked at code before, the learning curve may feel a bit steep. The game doesn't spend much time teaching programming fundamentals from the ground up. Where it really shines is for beginners who already understand (or are actively learning) basic concepts like variables, functions, loops, lists, and dictionaries. It gives you a fun environment to experiment, make mistakes, and discover more efficient ways to solve problems. For me, it's been an excellent supplement to my Python studies, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a more hands-on way to reinforce what they're learning.
Best way to learn Python or basic programming for anyone ages 10+. Incredible way to learn the basics, sorting, algorithms, logging, optimization, threading, etc. If you complete this game you will be ready to utilize Python in any real world scenario thrown at you.
