The premise of 4 chapters of psychological pixel horror stories interested me. But the game disappointed me, I left the game at the start of 3rd chapter. I liked the atmosphere and visuals of the first chapter, but there was really not much gameplay. The voice acting could be better, there were some spacing and grammar errors in Turkish translation (I am not sure if the spacing errors are intentional or not) (I switched the game language to English after the first chapter, so I don't know how the translation of following chapters). I liked the second chapter's atmosphere and visuals, too. It was more challenging than the first chapter. Some technical imperfections about pixel-art harmed my immersion for me (like the rotating sprites). The third chapter's UX was uncomfortable, that was when I left the game. Another thing I didn't like is not being able to skip the dialogue with psychiatrist, even when we are quitting the game.
向日葵游戏评分【7/10】
《The Creepy Syndrome》

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Well hello fellow schizos. Need papa lenny to diagnose you? Unfortunately, i lack the credentials, but apparently, this game offers you free analysis by a psychiatrist! ...well, actually he seems more like a psychologist or a general therapist since he gives you no pills that terminally online losers like us clearly need. He also looks like freud and doesn't tell you to touch grass so he's obviously evil. I like my mental professionals to actually be shown as competent you see - maybe because unlike all of those 'safe space' and 'mental health is important' ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ therapy actually helped me... probably - i'm still an autistic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but not a suicidal one lol Pet peeves aside, in short, this is a good horror game for quarter the price of other games that pretend to be good. If you want a longer review then keep reading. It is split into four smaller games, whose outcome determines the result of your 'therapy'. You can get completely mental, slapped with an 'inconclusive' label or get a 'good' ending that still suggests something's wrong with your schizo brain. Each game has a good or bad ending. The most complex of these four games also has a secret ending but it still counts as a bad one. It is a bit hard to figure out what should be done to get a 'good ending' imo. But i might just be overthinking things and expecting the game to pull twists when there are none or 'subvert expectations' when the twist is set up. The games are: A vent crawler, where you just kinda go forward and do puzzles on the way while learning about the protagonist. A FAITH-like adventure game where you go around the environment and solve puzzles while avoiding monsters. A point and click set in a nuke bunker. This one has THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jumpscares. I think one even used the 'vine boom' sound effect. Still liked it though. And finally, a magic ritual game where a girl does one of those creepypasta rituals and then gets chased by a monster. The FAITH-like is the most complex, longest and arguably the best of these. Also has the most lore. Would probably be creepier if it also incorporated those terrifying chiptune voices. Personally, i was the most confused during the vent crawler. I thought that it was trying to pull a twist on me with the boss fight, that i was SUPPOSED TO not shoot the boss. Just my overthinking - i thought it'd turn out you are shooting yourself or someone else and it wasn't just a metaphorical thingie about facing your guilt. I liked that the movement and graphics made the 'crawling' movement feel like driving at night which thematically links to the protagonist. That's quite good. Getting back to pet peeves - the Freud lookalike doesn't talk about ♥♥♥♥♥ enough. And i don't mean roosters. That dude could never shut up about 'richards' if you know what i mean. This totally needs to get fixed! Also, you only need 3 good endings to get a good therapy outcome. Same with bad. Dunno why. Maybe they are reserving the place for some secret endings? Okay, i rambled like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for long enough - buy this game, it's good. Some things about mental health bugs me and i'd prefer if getting good endings rewarded you with a more positive looking outcome. And if mister freud didn't act like such a rooster. 10/10 would launch a nuke again.
恶心且缓慢的互动,儿童文学级的故事,强制多周目,意义不明的jump scare 完全浪费生命和金钱
心理恐怖又不是那种纯粹为了吓人的恐怖,很精致的小游戏
A collection of four short horror experiences that are hit or miss. I really enjoyed two of these stories, but thought the other two were fairly "meh". The first in the collection, Watchful Gaze, seems to be the one the devs put the most love into, as it is the most fleshed-out in terms of story and creepiness. While I also appreciated the voice acting, being the only story to feature it, the frequent mismatch between the text and the voiceovers was somewhat off-putting. For me, the strength of the collection was the art. There are some solid ideas here that could be expanded and turned into a bigger game as well. I hope to see more from these devs.
It's alright.
The 4 stories are... well, not scary at all, and using the vineboom sound for jump scares is just extremely lame (please, change that with an update). The best of the 4 stories was basically a FAITH "tribute" and the best of the 4 but it only got me thinking "man, FAITH was a really awesome game". I appreciate indie horror devs but I'm afraid I couldn't recommend this. For this kind of "retro" horror FAITH or The Horror Of Salazar House are way better experiences and actually scary.
