Once upon a time, there was a poor boy named Hans who lived with his mother near the woods. On his birthday, the boy had no presents nor sweets. He got so upset he decided to leave home for good. Before he left, his mother gave him his grandfather's cane, some cheese and three pieces of gold. Hans walked into the forest in search of adventure. Soon it was night and the boy was really scared, so he tried to go back. But then, a quaint kobold happened to cross his path and Hans decided to follow him to a castle. The kobold told him he would inherit great wealth if he passed a simple trial... guessing his name. Trapped in the castle, Hans will live a spooky mystery, fantasy and horror adventure to become the new Count Lucanor.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

a lot of "first game syndrome" present here but without this yuppie psycho wouldn't exist and it's still a solid game on it's own. enemy AI tends to have them camp and spin in circles which made me more scared of randomly losing progress than the actual horror aspect of a "patrolling" enemy (not to mention hans moves PAINFULLY slow) though the atmosphere can still be very unsettling, i will always be nervous playing a game that has a limited light source lol. i do also enjoy the grimm's fairytale-esque nature of the story! it can be a great setting for a horror game if done well and i think this does it justice well enough. it's always interesting to me to see dev's starting points and how they've progressed from there and i'm looking forward to baroque decay's next game
I would just like to say, on the record, that a nine year old boy solved his family's poverty problem by wandering into a haunted mansion alone at night, and not one single adult in this story thought that was a bad idea. What I love most is how the game slowly reveals that literally everyone the protagonist meets in this mansion is some flavor of doomed, cursed, or actively lying to him, and the protagonist just keeps going anyway with the single minded determination of a child who has decided this is his one shot at not being poor anymore. You cannot save. You cannot fight most things. Your primary survival tool is running away and hiding in furniture like a increasingly stressed game of hide and seek with the concept of death itself.
About the count lucanor, it's a fun game with multiple paths and puzzles to explore and it's fun how you can make multiple decisions during the game that changes certain events. I love how well written the game is and how each of the endings is pretty good, even thoughts its not the best ending my favorite is one of the ones when making choices at the end without giving spoilers . I am glad I have played this multiple times on steam and other platforms. I love everything about this game and it's one of my favorite games ever.

Lowkenuinely, one of the best uses of 7 bucks I ever spent. I saw this game pop up in a bundle attached with Yuppie Psycho and I don't regret just saying "♥♥♥♥ it, I ball". The game was shorter than Yuppie Psycho but they did not hesitate to deliver quality despite a shorter quantity. This game was terrifying, to say the least, but I'm pretty bad with horror games to begin with. But, I do think i womanned up to the challenge because the story, the art, actually just every aspect of this game was so compelling and engulfing I knew I had to lock in and see it to the end. I totally recommend this game (not sponsored or compensated for)! I think if I were to describe it, it would be most similar to Yuppie Psycho but that is also another game by the same developer so I would just say like, Deltarune/Undertale but horror/gore and a risk of peeing your pants. The pixel animation was super cool and so well down, the woman was too stunned to speak and mostly was just intaking every second of it in admiration. But yeah, spend your money or don't I think it's a good investment and I sincerely can not wait to play another run of this game despite knowing the ending of the story. It's just that good fr, I wanna know what happens if I'm a generous queen to the random NPC's, yknow? I think the most terrifying part of this game was when I was playing it on stream and my husband did his Corbin impression :T
