I played the first one and didn't have any huge expectations for this game ,but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i cant even describe what i felt playing this in a dark room late at night with spatial audio headphones. I mean i was so immersed in the game and just constant goosebumps and a strange abnormal sense of fear that's not how you'd typically experience fear. I really don't know how id describe the way it made me feel but the graphics are really well done and immersive and not to mention the great level design where wondering actually feels like your exploring the backrooms and not playing some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ backrooms game. I got the first game when it was free and im glad i went and spent the 15$ for the game.

as much as I would like to love this game and actually finish it I just simply cannot. don't get me wrong, it's the best singleplayer backrooms game on the market right now and it's extremely immersive but I'd bet 100 dollars the developer tells scary stories about a mythical demon who goes by the name of "optimization". I understand this game is supposed to be hyperrealistic but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is it unoptimized. don't be fooled by the recommended system requirements, a gtx 1060 would turn into chernobyls reactor 4 and leave a small crater where your house once stood. I would go as far as say this game has worse optimization than tarkov. in order to play this in 60 fps, medium settings and a 1920x1080 resolution you would need an rtx 4090 at least and it would still barely scrape by. if you want ultra settings still in 60 fps and the same resolution even an rtx 5090 wouldn't be enough. If you borrowed a NASA pc I bet it would still choke on this game and actively melt during your playthrough. And as you probably have guessed this game is made on the worst mistake in the history of gaming which is unreal engine 5. Buy it only if you already spent 50 thousand dollars on your pc and live in the coldest region of siberia, if not just go watch a playthrough on youtube. It's not worth it to sacrifice your graphics card for a backrooms game.

Hated it a little at the start because I was so lost and didn't know where to go and then nearly had a panic attack and at that point realised it was actually a great and terrifying game. Once I got out of the yellow rooms at the start it felt like it really progressed. A terrifying, stressful, slow dread of a horror.
