Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Aug 7 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Beside the confusing map design where sometimes you don't know where you have to go and some crashing, this game is very fun to play. The shooting is satisfying, the mechanic is unique. And this game is dark man. Even the sequel improve so much

It plays like DOOM. Feels satisfying. Its a bit more complex. And the lore makes little sense. But its a fun time. I beat it in nine hours and am probably going to play on harder difficulties. Get it with the sequel bundle. Second game is better but I've reasons to appreciate the first for introducing me to such a weird world.
TL;DR Oddly satisfying version of those popular cleaning games, except instead of cleaning you're painting the walls red

Warning:
this game is made by a dev who likes guro. If you don't know what that term means, look it up and consider if that aspect of the game will bother you enough to not buy it. The demo is a good way to gauge whether you can tolerate it or not. (Personally, I watch too much horror movies so I'm just straight up desensitized to all the gore.)
Gameplay:
It's Doom mixed with Wolfenstein: The New Order (2014) with anime girls and gore. You can either run and gun or larp as a SWAT officer because this game has Rainbow 6 lean mechanics. Either way works and feel natural. For me, this game was oddly relaxing despite the extremely bloody gore because this game works very well to lull you into a rhythm of clearing rooms through either frantic run n gun or tactical cover shooting, picking up all the money and ammo, and moving onto the next room. That includes minibosses like the tanks and the robots: even though you'll be panicked on your first time, once you know what kills them fast they too get sorted into the rhythm of cover, peek, shoot, and move on. (Aside from later stages when they stop appearing on radar at first, and you turn a corner and get jumpscared by a tank sitting there staring at you. Then you'll be panicking as you try to get into cover to not get shredded.) The boss fights are exceptions to the above. All of the bosses are damage sponges set in arenas, where the main objective is to burst down the boss's HP while they try to kill you. Unfortunately, all of the bosses feel the exact same, aside from the teleporter: all of them are stationary towers in the middle of the arena firing bubbles and bullet at you, while you run around the arena dodging and firing back. The exception, the teleporter boss, is pretty much the same, except that in its case it teleports to four different spots and then stays there. Otherwise, the gunplay was good, There were around 16 guns you could choose, and all of them felt like they had their own uses for different situations, with the assault rifle being the catch-all. Movement was too floaty for my liking and the platforming was only serviceable at best, The level design works (except for the lava platforming one which sucks ass), and the enemy design was nicely varied. There are secret levels, but as there is no map select in the level select, you have to play through the entire series of maps for the level to get to the map with the exit to the secret level. Kind of a pain, so I didn't bother after I finished the game.
Plot:
From what I can tell, with all due respect, completely irrelevant. There is some attempt to babble pseudoreligiously, but in the end you are an anime waifu blowing other anime waifus to lovingly rendered gory bits with a ♥♥♥♥ ton of guns. A character betrays you and I felt absolutely nothing because my only interactions with her/him was in the brief period of time between levels in the level select. It's an excuse plot. Maybe Beyond Citadel has something better, idk
Price and Difficulty:
: Good. On Devotion (normal) I cleared the entire game in 7 hours-ish with only a minimal amount of deaths. It felt fine. There are a lot of custom difficulty options, so you can tweak the game to your liking to be harder or easier. I paid 5 dollars for the game, which was cheap for how good the game was overall. New Game Plus is an option, but as far as I can tell it just lets you keep all your weapons from the previous playthrough and not much else.
Sound:
Guns sounded good, Music did exist, but I couldn't hear it over the guns or they were so forgettable I do not remember anything aside from the title screen music, which is nice but a 6/10 at best. Enemies (and your character) scream when they die and take damage. This sounds disturbing, but believe me, it gets repetitive fast because it's the same scream for every single character. In later levels when you have to mow down hundreds of enemies, you will get very tired of hearing the scream.
Performance:
: Actually pretty taxing depending on how long you let the debris stick around in settings. Bullet casings, empty magazine, dead bodies and their gibs, and the marks from your weapons can stick around to a max of 3 minutes. Usually, FPS was around 150-165 on my computer, but in a big level where there were thousands of bullets fired and many, many dead enemies, my FPS tanked to around 30. So keep that setting in mind.
Overall:
Good game overall. The current retail of $15 dollars feels right, but the game goes down to 5 dollars often. Try the demo to see if the game clicks with you.
