The Chaos Engine

Great to play this game after so many years. The game port over to Steam is surprisingly well done, even multiplayer steam play worked well with a friend

I love the Chaos Engine. Intense action, a thumping 90s soundtrack, a unique design aesthetic and voice clips that will go with me to my grave. The only thing wrong with it is that I find the difficulty curve outpaces player progression by world 3, and it becomes crushingly hard well before the end. I'd love to see a remake someday, with twin stick aiming and a save function rather than level codes. Like a lot of older games, Chaos Engine is often cheaper than a petrol station Mars bar. Buy it, or don't.

Challenging and fun, just like the good ol' days 😆 Take it slow and enjoy every level. It'll def take you a few tries to get through. Worth the price.

one of my favorite games of all time since the amiga days tough game but ive always loived top down arcade shooters,not like games of today with unlimited lives and continues .as a remake its not its the same as the amiga 1200 or cd32 version music and graphics only the multi directional shooting is easier ,so diappointed graphics didnt get updated but i love the graphic style of the game anyway ,needd to learn thge levels and where enemies are and pop out to get threw thge levels.if u want a challenge to a great game look no further this and turrican amiga in its heyday

Juego retro de los tiempos de super nintendo y sega mega drive. Una pieza de museo (con musica muy marchosa) que en su dia tuvo gran exito. Un pelin dificilillo cuando avanzas algo en la partida. Solo tienes 3 vidas. Y algunas dificultades mas, como municion limitada. Pero merece la pena tenerlo y mas por ese precio: oferta 2€. Al ser una adaptacion no se si funciona el modo cooperativo.
