Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 28 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The northlands lie covered in eternal snow. Home to many mysteries and secrets, legends tell of the Timeless Widow, Goddess-Queen of the Ancients who were wiped out during the great calamity centuries ago. Now only their secrets remain...
In this world of cold the legendary Black Knight finds that some secrets should never be uncovered. Thrust into an epic tale of betrayal, death and tragedy, this lone warrior must join forces with an unlikely group of misfits to save the lands from the secrets the Ancients left behind...

The Black Knight Chronicles - The Widow without Time is a traditional jRPG in the style of many 16-bit adventures, just modernized. The game features traditional sprites, and more refined now than ever before. The world is filled with details, each NPC has something to say and there are dungeons aplenty to explore. Combat is turn-based and resembles classic sideview systems with nicely animated fighters and effects-heavy spells. The music is orchestral with modern, electronic elements and the story is told through a mix of direct interaction with characters, cutscenes and gameplay.
If you like RPGs you can't miss this renaissance of the traditions that made the jRPG genre the behemoth it is today.

First of: I played this for over 4 1/2 hours. ATM I am told to enter the big tree. But, sorry to say this: I'm simply fed up with this game. It's nice to see that a lot of heart and soul went into its development. But there are a few things that are preventing me from continuing to play. The minor issues for me are: No map in the dungeons. Poor organization in the quest log. Sometimes endless running back and forth. Enemies respawn in the dungeons when you leave a level or enter a room through a door (respawning is nice, but only when you leave the dungeon). A bug in the ruin? The guy with the crates tells me he needs a ladder. The guy with the ladder doesn't have a marker above his head, tells me he's expecting me in the ruin, but isn't there...quest unfinished. But what's really ruining the fun for me is: Why are all the dungeons so dark? After a short time, my eyes were already hurting because I had to strain to see anything. It's nice that the enemies are visible and that random encounters only occur on the overworld. But it's just annoying when you can't see the little characters because of the darkness. And it's not just the enemies that are sometimes hard to spot. I searched the entire Mechanical Tower two or three times before I saw the small staircase leading to the next floor. Darkness in dungeons is perhaps understandable, but when I entered the Big Tree, it was also dark there... and that was simply too much for me. Therefore, I can't recommend this game. It's a shame, really, because I stupidly bought the second part as well, and I probably won't play that one either (even though it's a standalone game and can be played without the first one).
