For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Six guests have been welcomed to a foreboding mansion, but something sinister is at play. The wealthy recluse and toymaker Henry Stauf lurks in the shadows, and a dark power hangs over the house, shrouded in mystery. Who is the seventh guest? What does Henry want with them? And who will live to tell the tale?

As you explore the eerie mansion, the puzzles grow increasingly challenging, with dangers lurking around every corner. Every shadow, distant creak, and flicker of light builds tension as the house slowly reveals its secrets.
The 7th Guest is the ultimate mystery adventure for players who love mind-bending puzzles, haunting exploration, and a chilling story.

Cinematic Storytelling Through Volumetric Video: Step inside the story. Real actors appear within the world itself, making every encounter feel immediate and unsettling.
Unique Mind-Bending Puzzle Gameplay: The equally beloved and feared haunted mansion comes alive around you with high-end visuals and carefully redesigned, all-new handcrafted puzzles. Every puzzle is woven into the story and rooted in the mansion’s lore, with recognizable elements that pay homage to the original.
Dynamic Environments: The haunted mansion shifts and transforms around you through high-end visuals and clever optical illusions. Investigate every creepy nook and cranny. Unlock new rooms, uncover hidden secrets, and keep your wits about you as the horrors within begin to close in.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, GOG publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Fairly fun nostalgia trip. Nothing too difficult or of note. It'd be neat to see a Jewels of the Oracle Remake that keeps some of the same tough puzzles.
Nostalgic blast from the past. Not as challenging as I remember, but thanks for bringing achildhood favorite back.
I give this game a solid 7 out of 10, the rooms are fun. The puzzles are fun. A game great if you want to just chill and solve some puzzles. It loses 3 whole points though due to the last bit of the game having a "puzzle" that works off of RNG...... Not really a puzzle if you are just hoping you get lucky, which to no surprise, the Antagonist magically rolls the perfect numbers to screw you over every time. Made the end of the game feel more like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ chore than a battle of the wits.

Pretty janky remake. Lots of texture loading issues. Puzzle interfaces are frustrating, like physically moving the puzzle pieces around they get hung up on corners and the camera angle gets in the way of seeing where the piece is going. Some puzzles you try to reset them, and it doesn't reset, so you have to go in and out of the puzzle interface a few times before it will move the puzzle back to the initial setup. One of the puzzles wouldn't let me interact with it at all - nowhere that I moved my cursor would let me activate the puzzle. Very disappointing. The game is not super interesting, the puzzles are very basic, so when you add the annoying interface and glitchy graphics, it's just really not worth the effort.
This was an absolute blast. I got through the game in about 7 hours but I will tell you as a fan of thee original 7th guest this was a complete remake and refashioning in every good way. Again I loved the original from 1993 and its maligned 90's flaired sequel but this took the original story, remade thee mansion, remade new puzzles, remade the story so you can actually understand it and overall was just plain fun. I was waiting for some cheesy soups on or what not but it really just did a solid story with good acting. heck you can actually walk around the room during the visual sequences which was awesome. two thumbs up and I was pleasantly surprised as I didn't know this was coming out until I saw it on steam this month. I am quite the happy dude with this!
I played the original on the week of release... seeing someone remaster this game finally was super exciting... The game, the puzzles, the story... all present and accounted for, and enjoying the vibes. The controls on the other hand... an absolute atrocity for 2026. They put some work into the controls, we might be cooking with gas on this one.
Loved the original and love how the remake has taken the same story and gone a different way. Would love to see you guys taken on the 11th hour or other games like the X-Files and do your own thing.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Loved the game in 1993, and I just got back with my memory in a way that felt both nostalgic and even improved. It's a short game, but it captures the essence of 90s horrors, so immerse yourself in the style and mechanics of that era and play it as if you are watching a movie without interruptions.
This is a great remake of the classic 7th guest with all new puzzles. The new actor for Stuaf is really good and entertaining. I found the puzzles challenging but fair so far.
