Poorly optimized, Soulless UI and atmosphere, Mobile-esque F2P microtransaction system, No houses, Ugly character models, AI-esque soundtrack, Tiny map. Ibiza is downscaled and very tiny. TLDR: Nothing special but not awful like 38% positive would lead you to believe First of all, I haven't played older Test Drive games and I am coming fresh off of ~200 hours of Forza Horizon 6. Optimization is terrible but i'm able to get ~70 frames consistently after playing with my settings at 4k and i'm happy enough with how it looks. Visually while I'm driving it reminds me of crackdown 3 which is not as bad as I was expecting from some of the other reviews, not to say its good though. Lots of cutscenes so far with all of the characters looking like wax figures, sounding out of place, and with stilted and off-putting animation to match. Driving physics are as expected from other KT games very responsive and fun on controller, arcade style handling but not the kind where you will be drifting every corner. The way the camera swings with the car helps it to feel even more responsive than it already would. Impressed with the size of the map and the fact that there are licensed cars. Being able to open the windows and play with other controls like that through the radial menu is a nice touch especially for photos. I like how much customization there is but the amount/price of micro-transactions and elements that are just there to keep you grinding every day do feel like overkill in a game i'm primarily looking at as a single player campaign experience. I'm sure i'd be especially uncomfortable with them if I paid closer to full price, but I also understand that this is being ran more like an MMO and I respect that they need to make money to keep supporting the game, it's servers, and especially keep paying for those licenses from car manufacturers. So far happy with this for $10. Might not be as happy when I want more cars.
Crashed within the first 10 minutes, couldn't even play for a second. But the part where they force you to register for an account if you want to play the game worked well. Such a shame, loved TDU on the PSP, good old times.
I`ve got FH4, FH5, Grid Legends, The Crew 2, Motorfest and i just wanna say that TDU Solar Crow was a big, big surprise! I got low expectation on this game because the bad reviews, but i just enjoying it so much! I love the cars collection, the map, the car handling and details. Also the missions and the story mode are awesome!
I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. This game is amazing. It's exactly what I want from a racing game. Visually it sits in a sweet spot between Forza Horizon and The Crew. It's easy and pleasant to play on a gamepad. It's a very good racing game.

This game needs to be studied -- it is simply bizare how you can make a game with such terrible performance and prolly the worst graphics God ever created. It actually runs at sub 30fps native 1440p 5060ti lmao. You NEED frame gen to get the illusion of of more fps, but it gets a blurry smeary fest in the progress. Also always online which is just terrible.
