Terje Haakonsen's Powder VR

Previewed this on my youtube channel Lipnox VR - https://youtu.be/bSD0XxOR0qM Powder is a skiing and snowboarding VR game with 3 main modes, Race, Checkpoint, and Freestyle (tricks). It also has a story somewhat and an explore mode, and you can customise the look of your character, mostly pointless but makes a difference if you use the replay feature. I found the sense of speed amazing, and really loved going off a jump and getting good height. I found the game looked a bit blurry on virtual desktop so I would keep that in mind as it works as a wireless title a lot more but you can still turn with the right stick so its not the end of the world if your playing wired and spent half my playtime linked. This is early access so keep that in mind (based on February 2021) so random glitches, and tweaking is still needed but it seems like the team has a road map and are determined to make this an awesome game so I wouldn't be against a purchase if your doing so to support development. I do suggest looking further into the video for more but consider this a recommended from me and I cant wait to play the full release.

id love to recommend this as it has promise but its so flawed. i have a fairly good pc yet the graphics are glitchy as hell. i have this weird glitch around me and even on lowest settings its still bad. run other vr games with no issue. the physics arent the best but are playable but the biggest issue is the calibration you must do every time you go to load anything. you must stand in a tiny circle and press a button. if you are off by an inch it wont load correctly, leaving you in a limbo white screen (i suspect its half the reason for the bad glitching around my character). there is a lot of comments stating same issue so im unclear on why its still in the game. no other game i own makes me do this. if it gets a big update of better graphics with smoother movement and the centring circle dropped completely i might give it another go

Very very buggy game.... Tried to play it, but a lot of bugs made the experience the worst. I regret because I bought this...

Just when you think the winter season is over, you get the BIGGEST snow storm of the year! Wow, this game is a breath of fresh air. The snowboarding, the wingsuit & the sense of speed in this game is one of my favorite VR experiences yet. My favorite being the free style where you can earn points by doing extreme stunts & catching BIG air. Cant wait to see what they add next & all the other levels that are yet to be released. It crashes everytime i play past the tutorial I don't recommend this

This game has nice graphics and is pretty realistic. You'll find yourself losing your balance a lot on big jumps and spins. There is also stuff you can unlock by getting medals from winning which is a cool touch. Overall fun game!
