Tender: Creature Comforts

All the other reviews are right, this game is great! If you're looking for a fun casual experience (and maybe some laughs about your own past experiences), [b] i fully recommend playing Tender! [/b] The characters feel super real, for better or worse :p Loved the customizing chatting options, it's simple but it helped imagining myself writing with the NPCs. I would've loved more 2nd dates. Some characters really had potential for more. But this isn't any complain, cause all this must have been so much work already! My only real issues are: The only ace character - [spoiler] Murphy [/spoiler] - didn't sit right with me, an aroace myself. He was way too distant for an ace who activly decided to join Tinder. Another more extroverted ace would have greatly balanced that and would have reduced the involuntary aphobia. And every fiber of my being didn't want to date Jackie. Not going into spoiler territory but was it really necessary let her story line play out like that? It went against my moral code and i could've lived without it. I only did it for the achievement.

Rating: Hot astronauts in your area/10 NO SPOILERS: There's no way these ain't real people i'm talking to. This is so well written that at some points i forgot i was playing a game. Some characters are really deep and caught me by surprise (i felt like i was stuck in a toxic relationship with this space possum i met literal 5 minutes ago). If you enjoy dating sims and chill games, go for it! I'm sure you will be surprised by how real this feels :) My only advice is to be prepared, because not all characters will be nice to you. Sometimes you will feel rejected or lonely for real, and it's up to you to choose to give into the hopelessness, or to be a kind person no matter what happens. -------------------------------------- SPOILERS: [spoiler]I felt like i couldn't let this slip, so here are a couple things that bothered me a bit: Your goal in the game is to get a 2nd date with a character before you get kicked out of the planet and the game restarts (basically, each 2nd date is a different ending). The first time you play everything feels real; the dialogues are impactful and well-written. After the second playthrough though, you start to notice that the characters repeat the same dialogues, and things start losing meaning. You already know which specific character won't reply to you. You already know that other one is gonna be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. You already know that other one's secret. At the beginning i really wanted to date all possible characters and get all achievements, but after the first playthrough it was just a matter of mindlessly clicking and trying to pick the right dialogue options to make a certain character like me, so i didn't feel like i was in control anymore and the gameplay became a boring chore. It would be really cool if the chats and characters' behaviours changed even if only slightly from one gameplay to the other. Make it so that some characters like me more if i chose a specific profile picture. Make it so that they talk to me differently depending on my bio. I'd definitely buy a DLC for this game if more content was added. Also, sometimes i just felt like most characters were a bit too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Like, i get it, not everyone is nice, but the only character that was enjoyable to talk to was the one who already had a partner. At some point i just entered new conversations expecting people to suck, and i didn't even know who was romanceable and who wasn't because everyone was equally mean and uninterested. Hell, at some point i didn't even want to date most of them anymore because they acted so entitled all the time that they became genuinely unlikeable FDJFFDF The only characters i managed to like slightly were the polycule girls and that was after a bad beginning where they literally greeted me with "okay so we did a poll and some of us didn't want you here, but we're going to give you a chance" like... rude.[/spoiler] And on a last note, please let me bang the hot doberman man.
