Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A while ago I picked up temtem and let it sit in my library for years, Now that I finally got a chance to play the game I can honestly say that I do not recommend this game. the game starts out well enough but somewhere around island four or five the cracks begin to show as the story starts to feel like its rushed, the difficulty begins to spike and leveling starts to slow down. When I got to the final part of the game I just wanted to be done as my patience was starting to run out but then I got to the final boss of the story and realized how important understanding TV's was in the game and that almost made me quit on the spot. After spending roughly 12 additional hours leveling three temtem at a time and resetting some of the TV's I was finally able to clear final boss. The ending is not worth the effort as it feels forgettable and left me feeling so tired I didn't want to continue with the side quests. I don't want to come off as saying that the story shouldn't have a challenge but the discrepancy between the NPCs you have to fight at the end and the wild temtem you can farm for leveling in the area preceding the final boss is a 30 lvl difference leading to a multi hour grind to lvl up with the final fight being a timed fight at max lvl. The game does have some charm and could be enjoyable but you can feel the min max feeling of as you get to the end of the main storyline and it's a shame really.

I somehow can't get into this even though I have been a Pokemon fan all my life. I don't even hate the design of the mons or the battle system. But somehow it just feels... off? The Player characters look like knockoff xbox live avatars, the music is weirdly grating that I wanna mute it and it being an mmo for SOME REASON (?!?) just doesn't feel right. Like there is no optional solo play. I don't want like timmy and their boys running around while I play through the story. I wish it was opt in yet I couldn't find an option for it. Also I did start this together with my partner, but also wanted to play by myself yet... there is no second character slot? So I couldn't even if I wanted to without like being ahead in progress. Every "mmo" has multiple character slots. So why not this one? I don't know. Still looking for a Pokemon replacement for PC that tickles me the right way. For now back to Digimon games.
I really want to like this game. It's so close to being good, but it's not. If you just want to play through the story, maybe you'll have fun. I do really like that you can play through the story with a friend. Also the soundtrack is incredibly beautiful. What I don't like is how ridiculously grindy this game is. It is way more grindy than any other creature collector I've played, including old-school Pokemon. I've never even caught a legendary Temtem and I'm 200 hours in. I'm actually stunned by how much grinding you have to do to obtain competitively viable Temtem. The main system for making money, "Free Tem", requires HOURS of catching the same Temtem, and you have to do it within 1 week time period or it resets. So don't count on being able to afford competitively viable Temtem unless you can consistently grind for 5+ hours per week. Breeding your own might actually be worse. Breeding is insane and takes 10 to 20 hours for ONE Temtem and afterwards they will be out of fertility so you'll have to start the process all over again for the next Temtem so I've never had fun with PvP because of that. Sadly, it seems like the creators gave up on the game in which case they should really reduce the grinding in this game so we can at least have some fun with it.
Finally beat the campaign after about a year and a half of on and off playing. At first, the amount of battles can feel overwhelming, but I fell in love with the creatures and the battle systems of the game. The weekly challenges are a great way to earn money once you beat the game! Unlike most games, the end game isn't the end-all-be-all of this game. You have the option to play a randomized playthrough, a nuzlocke, or a randomized nuzlocke, all on dedicated servers, and each with some pretty neat cosmetic rewards, even if it's just a handful of them. Overall, I have loved every second of Temtem. It's a single player RPG with a two-player co-op mode and some late-to-end game group rogue-like content. If you find yourself replaying Pokemon or ROM hacks in various ways to challenge yourself, do yourself a favor and play Temtem! Stick with it until the end, it has tons of fun content!
There's like a million ROM-Hacks for free out there. Do they have the same graphics as Temtem? No. But you can play a different one each day till the sun burns out. Temtem is by no means a bad game, but gameplay-wise it's just another Fakemon game, be it a fairly good one. Grab it if it's on sale for $5, cause for 40+ bucks you could also just get a real Pokemon game (or play them for free on an emulator...)
Temtem is a really fun creature-collecting MMO that manages to capture the charm of classic monster-taming games while adding its own ideas to the formula. The world is colorful, the Temtem designs are great, and the battles have a nice strategic feel to them. I especially enjoyed the exploration, collecting different Temtem, and building a team that actually feels unique to your playstyle. The online MMO elements also make the world feel more alive, and playing alongside other players adds a nice touch. It’s not perfect, and there are a few rough edges here and there, but overall I’ve had a great time with it. If you enjoy games like Pokémon and want something with a more online-focused experience and deeper battle mechanics, Temtem is definitely worth checking out. Recommended! 👍
Boring, lame and sleep inducing. No thanks
I cannot really recommend Temtem as of now due to these things: 1. Can't choose which temtems to use when battle starts! 2. Temtem legit made my pc crash during battles ( pretty sure it's only Temtem cause i also play other *more demanding* games and they do not BSOD me) 3. Can't see which elements are my Temtems NOR what elements are my opponents!!!! How absurd is this lol 4. Same as 3. the synergies are a cool concept but as a new player i'm put off by it cause i don't know what synergies with what at and have no way to check except going to Wiki and spoiling myself, also can't see which attack deals more damage due to being unable to remember every Temtem i encountered. Other than that, the game is really cute and not bad by any means, but since i'm used to a lot of quality of life upgrades it's just putting me off. Solid 6/10 as of now when i first start playing it 3/7/2025 for measly 1.3h
the more you play the game the more you will realise its a hollow shell of un-fun mechanic masquerading as a pokemon game.
