I’ve always liked TMNT and seeing this game was a Hades-like got me interested. The gameplay is quite similar to Hades too but nowhere near its build variety. The minute to minute gameplay isn’t as smooth either but fun regardless. Most of the characters are fun to play, with Donatello being a bit laggy-feeling with his attacks and Metalhead being borderline unplayable with how unresponsive he is. The voice acting and dialogue though is pretty neat, I liked the back and forth between the characters. Overall Score 7.3/10 Get it on sale, fun little game.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've always loved TMNT since the 80s cartoon and welcomed a rogue like/lite game but after playing this for a while it's unfortunate this game aint it. The biggest problem I have is with the progression- there's different currencies for different perks at three different places with no way to easily swap between them. I hate it. And along with that, the upgrades/perks you can get are just really underwhelming or something I have zero interest in. The menus are annoying to navigate with some awful UI design which to me is a huge negative for this genre of games. Devs should take a note from Tesla vs Lovecraft for how to do all of that the right way. Next is dialogue. Holy crap. The amount of dialogue in this game is ridiculous. And 90% of it interrupts gameplay. Huge negative for me. No options to reduce or maybe even have them talk while I'm actually playing instead...which leads to the levels are just one little area you fight enemies in, then go to the waypoint, fades to black and loads the next "room". I was expecting the stitched together stuff but I was also expecting levels. Like the 20xx game does it. Places I can walk through and do a touch of light exploring, smashing stuff, getting money etc. Nope. It's load a room, fade to black, load another room, etc etc. Kinda disappointed in that. Really killed the flow for me. For special abilities and tools, it's extremely difficult to tell in the UI that when the cool down is over, so you'll either guess or constantly looking at the upper left corner of the screen like I did. Really needs a sound effect and/or bright light effect around the circle so I can see it out the corner of my eye. The voice acting just doesn't do it for me. Maybe the voices from the 80s cartoon are forever locked in my monkey brain as how everyone should sound. But in this game I swear I couldn't tell much of a difference between Leonardo, Michaelangelo and Donatello at all. Raphael has a nice distinct voice as does April. But Splinter, Shredder and Casey Jones voice acting doesn't really have a good type of voice for them. It's really bad. I appreciate the devs still updating and adding optional dlc but unless they do some major UI revamping I think I'm done with this game.
It's just an ok game at best. It just feels cheap for a TMNT game. Music feels like a random "freemium" package copy/pasted into the game, Writing is cringe. Sounds are kinda buggy. If you adjust sound volume levels and don't restart the game - then some sounds can become really loud, while others dimmed. All levels have the same bosses, just mini-bosses switch a little bit. What I disliked the most is that many enemies have 360 radius attacks, so no matter where you stand, if you don't dodge quickly, you will get hit. Small, medium, trash mobs, mini bosses and bosses - 90% of their attacks are circles. It's such a stupid design. it's especially frustrating in the first several hours, when you feel kinda weak and the amount of dodging you need to do is very high, later on when you upgrade your damage and skills, it gets a bit better in that regard. But still, the patterns remain the same no matter what. And for a game that concentrates on the replayability - it was a very big fun-killer to me. I thought I would still give this game a thumbs up, but nah. It just doesn't deliver it. I would not want to replay this ♥♥♥♥ ever again. Raphael is the 🐐 though.

Terribly unbalanced, with perks that seldom define your run. To start, enemies have no cooldown on their attacks. This means if an enemy swings a heavy weapon in a 180 degree arc, it can immediately swing again the moment the attack animation is over. Constant circle aoe attacks, fast line drives, and relentless weather hazards remove any sense of combat rhythm. In other games enemies will serve your these massive attacks, but then afterwards will flow into a smaller attack pattern. This gives fights an ebb and flow as you find a rhythm to attack enemies based off of their individual behaviors. Not here. Combine this lack of attack cooldown with enemies that all attack at the same time in unison, and you are left with no moments to attack. Every character has a standard 3-hit combo in theory, but in practice all you are doing 90% of the time is chain-dodging and waiting to get in a single hit of your weapon. Fighting should feel great when you land that 3rd blow for devastating damage, but you seldom get the chance. Enemy projectiles track you with insane curvature. Rather than give enemies some small allowance of aim assist to let projectiles somewhat curve towards you, they straight up will track you in a complete circle. You are not allowed to move around them during combat, you must dodge into them, regardless if an enemy awaits you where you land. Projectiles will also travel through scenery placed on a stage, so you will be hit by a projectile that wasn't visible until it's too late. The standard combo attacks also don't track enemies. If you are moving towards an enemy, your will often overstep their hit box and swing your weapon behind them or to the side. This game has a fantastic art style, but not much else. I usually devour these games but the bones just aren't here to support it.
