Growing up with the Turtles cartoon in the '90s and spending countless hours at the arcade playing the classic TMNT beat-'em-up, this felt like the perfect trip back in time. Shredder's Revenge captures the spirit of those games flawlessly while adding enough modern polish to make it feel fresh. The pixel art is absolutely stunning, packed with detail and personality. Every level is bursting with visual storytelling, clever background gags, and tongue-in-cheek references that longtime fans will love spotting. The four-player co-op is pure chaos in the best possible way. It's frantic, hilarious, and endlessly entertaining as you and your friends smash your way through wave after wave of Foot Clan goons. Combat feels fluid and intuitive, making every combo, throw, and special move incredibly satisfying to pull off. As an old-school beat-'em-up fan, this is exactly the kind of game I want to see more of. It's a reminder that games don't need endless battle passes, daily challenges, or live-service hooks to be fun. Shredder's Revenge is a love letter to the arcade era, and it absolutely nails it.

Its a fun beat em up game but if your going to get it, get it on sale. I played with 3 other people. It took us 3 hours to beat the game start to finish in one sitting. We all paid the new price of $24.99 for it. I see the hardwork the devs put into the game but at $25 for 3 hours of fun thats more then the cost of going to the movies and most places are still at a $7.25 minimum wage.

It's pretty fun. Ninja Turtle's is a classic franchise. Turtles in Time is one of my favorite games, so it's hard for me to "compare" the games. The combat feel noticeably different and a little "heavier," which I like! Overall, it seems like a very fun game. I haven't beat it yet, but I plan to and I'm sure I'll have lots of nostalgia mixed with slight disappointment, but geez Turtles in Time is one of the best.
It's sooo good! coming from someone who used to play tmnt arcade whenever i could and tmnt iv on snes religiously. This game feels like a proper arcade sequel we never got back in the 90's! it feels so right and fluid. if youve never played a konami tmnt or if youre a veteran this game will feel so good to play. if alone or with friends or family, its a blast. secrets and easter eggs just for the fans. the 87 cartoon is well represented with charecters you'll remember even if you havent seen the show in thirty years. this game is how you do beat em ups. id love to see Final Fight get this treatment, with fluid pixel art and classic arcade feel but updated story mode. the story mode has a neat pseudo leveling system where you level up by beating up baddies but you get a set reward and no option to pick and no traditional stat increases keeping it closer to arcade mode. Still it's fun to level up your dudes, who all play differently, exactly like the old arcade game with new additions like splinter and april then the dlc dudes. you should buy it, i got it on switch cartridge too
