About
Welcome to Team Principal: A Racing Manager. Initially a passion project, this game has become much more for me. It is a completely customizable grand prix/motorsport manager game, with a simplistic top down 2d race view. Most of the game is in the in-depth management aspect. Some key features include:
- An ever-changing grid: Teams & engines can leave, go bankrupt, join, rebrand, get bought out, fluctuate season to season. No two seasons will ever be the same, with a virtually limitless grid size.
- Simulate ANY era in this sandbox with infinite possibilities and infinite replayability. This game can handle ANY era, or season of racing in a realistic manner, with over decades of seasons of content.
- In-depth race simulation complete with REAL physics, live speeds, hyper-intelligent AI, setups that impact your actual car speeds in corners/straights, customizable temperature, weather, dirty air, tire wear, fuel consumption, safety cars, mechanical wear, and realistic results, with both simulated and non-simulated options available.
- Easy to use in-game editor, and save editor, so you can have your career mode the way you want.
- In-Depth finance system with stock, ownership, and ability to purchase stakes in rivals.
- Completely in-depth academy pipe-line system with ability to pay to assign your rookie drivers in junior series teams, have them test for you, learn the ropes in rival junior teams you own, and eventually promote them to your team.
- In-depth regulatory system that can change the environment of the game season to season.
- In-depth negotiation system for tyres, parts, sponsorship, works engines, customer engines, and drivers/staff.
- Ability to build and sell your own engines through an engine plant, or partner with an existing engine supplier.
- AI who compete with you every week of the season, on and off the track, in engineering, developing, strategy, and signing talents.
- Fully fleshed out car attributes, driver attributes, staff attributes, headquarters, etc.
- In-depth chassis, aero, engine, ERS, driver aids, and tyre development.
This game aims to be a FULLY customizable racing management sandbox experience for racing in any era. Every aspect of the game able to be edited and changed. Team names, performance, dirty air, tire model, points model, anything one can think of can be edited to your liking.
This game is in active development & will receive extremely frequently updates. Please join the game's discord server, wherein I will share future plans, update timelines, provide bug support, as well as the track editor. This game is extremely mod friendly, and an open canvas for any situations one wishes to develop.

It takes some time to learn and it's still in early access so big changes are not uncommon, but it's an amazing game and alot of fun. Reminds me of the older 90s games, but in modern. There are also alot of mods that represent older timelines like 1989, 1996, etc. some would say the "peak" of F1. It can be hard to learn everything and I did skip the tutorial as it was "too much to read" lol so I can't say if its good or if things would be easier if I'd read it, but the discord is very active and people help alot there. It's an almost perfect game, but you'll need to spend some time learning how it works, but I guess thats the fun with it.
It looks very promising.

Miglior simulazione manageriale di F1 da DECENNI a questa parte. Ha una grande moddabilità che ne rende la rigiocabilità pressoché infinita.
Insanely addictive. This is what I wanted in an F1 management game.
I usually get overwhelmed by busy interfaces, but if you give this one just a few minutes, the UI clutter fades into the background. The game is packed with fun details and is definitely way more engaging than Motorsport Manager.
Man, I love this
This game is everything I've looked for since the original F1 manager which was a generation ago. It goes way beyond that of course and the regular updates from the developer are great to see. The depth of the simulation and the passionate modders make it a joy to use. Highly recommended.
Don't expect this game to be polished: It's not. The UI is a mess, and systems aren't explained properly, but wow, does this game have great potential. The systems in the game are just SO good, and it's amazing to see how this motorsport world develops: Teams come and go, change names, get new title sponsors and so on... Kudos to the developer and I'll be on the front row looking forward to what's to come.
Great game and only getting better. No flashy graphics, but good depth and detail where it is needed. Highly recommend downloading the mods offered by the community. Strong thumbs up if you like F1 or sports management games in general.
Does the job very well compared to different F1 Manager games. You can edit every single detail in this game. Change team logos, team names, drivers, even the starting year. If you put some time in the editing it you can make your own history from 1950 till beyond. There are also a few mods out there if you want to jump straight in. From the managing side: you need to design your car next year, you can put your designers trying to upgrade the current year car, you need to negotiate with engine, tyre, drivers & sponsors, there is just so much stuff to do. But if you just want to lay back and see the history being written, there is a spectator mode. Big cheers to the single dev, you did an amazing job!
