I wanted this game to be good, I really did. Left it alone for a couple of years and then came back to it... was immediately reminded of why I stopped playing. Very little to do in it, seems like the employee stats mean nothing, and creativity is limited by scenarios and space constraints. It has so much potential, but the game gets stale really quickly. If the developers ever return to this game, maybe it will go some where, otherwise there are far better cooking and management games out there.

Tastemaker is such a charming little restaurant management game, especially if you enjoy building something that feels personal. Designing the layout, decorating the space, crafting your menu, and then watching customers react to what you’ve created is genuinely satisfying. It strikes a nice balance between creativity and management, and there’s something really rewarding about seeing your restaurant fill up and run smoothly after you’ve put the work into setting it up. It’s the kind of game where you plan to make one small improvement and suddenly realize you’ve been playing for hours. That said, I do wish the developers had expanded on it more and really focused on adding deeper content and long-term progression. It feels like there’s a lot of untapped potential, and with more updates it could have become something truly special. From what I’ve seen, their attention seems to have shifted toward developing other games, which is a bit disappointing because Tastemaker deserved a bit more love. Even so, it’s still a cozy and enjoyable management sim that’s easy to sink time into.
It's such a simple yet satisfying 'number go up' game. If you just wanna see big number get bigger while vibing to a splashy jazz soundtrack, this was made for you.

que experiência... uma trilha sonora impecavel...
It's got the relaxing intuitiveness of chill games I like, but the attentive requirements of the better Sims games. Like real life, a small spot with a simple menu is best...until you gotta break free and go for it.

es una mierda con todas las letras
This is one of my all time favorite relax and perfect chill strategy games. Please make more like it!
