Submachine: Legacy
This series has been my all-time favorite point-and-click adventure puzzle since childhood. I played every single installment when they were Flash games decades ago.
Submachine: Legacy is a collection of all the remastered games, including the main series and side series, released between 2005 and 2015. It is not just a collection of separate entries; it is a whole seamless experience. In other words, you can start playing from the first chapter and go all the way until the end of the final chapter without exiting to the level selection screen once. While this version contains greatly enhanced sound effects, some visual elements are absent. For example, the game replaced the flashing white screen effect of teleportation (Lab Portal, Root Transporter, Edge Portal) with a simple fade-to-black effect with softer sound effects. Anyway, they are trivial matters compared to the overall experience. The game difficulty is exceptional. I once named it the hardest puzzle game ever because of the design. You are highly likely to get stuck for hours moving around without knowing what to do unless you understand the nature of this universe and are familiar with how it works. If you like brain teasers and the hidden object genre, give this masterpiece a try. I love how the whole series itself becomes one huge interconnected puzzle that spans across chapters. It is a new and unique experience. You will know what I mean when you start the priority assignment: Shattered Quadrant. It is a remixed version of Submachine Universe.
A salute to Mateusz Skutnik for creating this masterpiece. Thank you for making our childhood awesome with the unforgettable experiences of exploration and journeys.
First played the free flash version of this point and click puzzel game as a kid and it never left my memory. The story is so mysterious, it makes you feel anxious and alone in this strange world which no such game has ever done for me. Being able to play the HD version now years later makes me feel so nostalgic. Even more exciting is finally being able to finish the game fully.
This is the gold standard of a compilation game. If you ever enjoyed a Submachine game, buy it.

Honestly, play the original flash games. This remake has removed a lot of the charm of the old games and from what I have seen, a lot of iconic things like frying a circuit using a spoon have been George Lucased. I'm sorry, Skutnik, this series was a part of my childhood, but this is not the kind of remake I like.
Boa jornada! :3
An amazing puzzle game; the type that pretty much requires having a pen and notepad on hand for the more challenging puzzles. And a surprisingly involved story, which I will not spoil here.
This game made a massive part of my childhood, god it's so neat
