Quirky characters and fun puzzles! Great time to relax and just play the game while solving these puzzles, listening to the each characters dialog, and the watching the wonderful animations. And it was a breath of fresh air seeing the [spoiler] the same person acting two different characters. [/spoiler]
The Tangle Tower was charming and enjoyable, full of memorable characters. The writing delivers a gripping mystery, the art, soundtrack and voice actors all working together to bring it to life! The puzzles were cool and I never quite felt like I was frustrated with any of them. There was one I was stumped. I was, however, just not quite understanding what the puzzle was asking of me, and that had little to do with the puzzle itself. The only "complaint" I have (which isn't much, in as far as it makes sense in-world/in-story) is that at some point I was locked out of going other places. The UI clearly comunicated it... It's just that I wanted to talk again to some characters and I couldn't. No technical complaints. I played it on the Steam Deck and the game just worked. I would have loved being able to use B for closing some menus, or perhaps a more adapted way to interact with some menus... but this is because I have experienced another game which made me prefer the controller over mouse and keyboard. I had no problems whatsoever moing the cursor around with the stick, and the targets are rather generous, making it easy to click what you want to click. I picked this up after watching a playthrough of The Mermaid Mask, and frankly I am glad I did.

Nice little 3 nighter mystery game - the animation & voice acting are particularly charming.

The writing and voice acting are top notch. The puzzles are also very good. Some of them proved rather difficult (though this could be a me issue) Can't wait to play the next game in the series
Short and sweet mystery/point-and-click game, midway between Phoenix Wright and Professor Layton. Amazing presentation with stellar voice-acting, charming animation and likable characters. The puzzles are satisfying, and the game has a great way to nudge you in the right direction without straight up telling you the answer. A word of caution to completionists: there are missable achievements. It shouldn't be a problem if you are clicking everything, tho.

The art style and voice acting are incredible! I picked up this game on a whim and quickly fell in love with it. The puzzles are fairly simple, and the detective work is easy enough if you follow along with the clues the game gives you. I never found it too challenging, which made for a fun and relaxing game to play through. If you're looking for a challenging puzzle game, this probably isn't it. However, if you're looking for a charming game with excellent character design and plenty of personality, you're in for a real treat!
It is a very short game, but I enjoyed the puzzles. Some of the controls and menus weren't clear on how to navigate, but the game is completely okay with trial and error so you work it out eventually. I'd be interested in trying out other games in the series.
