Joyita de juego

Cute little rat game. Would crush frog skulls. 8/10.
Nota final: 75/100
I have mixed feelings about this game. The art style is great and the world rich of details. The story wants to be interesting, but is not told convincingly. It kinda "happens", as some NPC approaches, saying "oh no this happened" and "oh no now that happened". The side quests are anything but that, as the game requires you to beat them to get money to continue the main quest. At the most inappropriate times no less which frequently puts a halt to your exploring and causes you to visit recent areas again and again. About the difficulty: The game promises "punishingly brutal combat", which is kinda true. I started the game on Bloody Whiskers, thinking "Eh, how hard can it be?"... Spoiler: Very. So I switched to normal and beat every boss in like three tries max. Played 100% including DLC in about 10 hours. The game is a lot about observing your foes and learning when you can punish them. Blocking is easy, dodging is annoying due to the varying and sometimes bigger-as-they-seem hitboxes of enemies. So you'll gonna die to bosses not really knowing what hit you. As enemies don't do as much damage on Normal, it is still doable though. Then I retried Bloody Whiskers because I thought I learned how the games works, and indeed it got a little better. But still: This mode is just not fun. The enemies and especially the bosses are too fast for the human eye, and if you don't see which attack a boss is going to do within 0.1 seconds, you're screwed. In the end, the way up to the final boss was just a five-minute memory game, starting over if you get hit once. I did it for my cursed addiction for achievements and I will never do it again. In the end, I still decide for a positive review because I had a lot of fun on my normal playthrough nevertheless, one I accommodated to and accepted the flaws.
