Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 19 → 2/day in the week after.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.22/day in the week to Aug 4 → 2.86/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Prima volta che giocavo uno strategico a turni. Un po’ tirato per le lunghe ma bel gioco. Perfetto su steam deck.
Really solved the grinding issue with the previous TO: LUCTs, though it does come at the cost of reducing your spell arsenal. Still very good though!
It’s sad to see this game still sit on Mixed as far as review scores go. I haven’t beaten the game yet but I absolutely am in love with this version of Tactics Ogre. I love the strategy and that the game isn’t completely based on just grinding your way to the end. My only issue with the game is that I wish it explained the mechanics better. Having to look up guides and such to learn what each of the status effects are is annoying. I wish that the game better explained how stats don’t really matter as much as stacking bonuses are. I also wish the game better explained how choosing your weapons actually influences the armor you need to wear. Those systems combined make a really deep experience that isn’t based around numbers just going up. I started having a lot more fun once a YouTuber named Coffee Potato explained the system. Now I’m able to make my own decisions to get maximum damage and clear stages despite the level cap. It’s clearly meant to be more of a strategic experience for you to puzzle through encouraging you to test all kinds of builds to get your through the next fight. I’m in Chapter 4 tackling the many side quests the games opens up and hit a point where the enemy jumped 4 levels compared to my team and I only realized that because I felt that the enemies weren’t dying as fast. It was so cool to see that even with the enemies having a level advantage I was able to put my builds and tactics to use to overcome the odds. Also, I would really love it if other games in the Ogre Battle saga got the Reborn treatment. Especially Knight of Lodis. Such a great story that I’d love to relive in this style.
