The controls for the items are limited in all aspects I've touched, examples: 1) background for the text doesn't work, you need to add another rectangle of the same size and then convert it to border-like item to add border to the text 2) you can't bulk edit items, so if you want to "move everything 1 mm to the left" you move each item manually 3) what is border and how to make it is still a mystery to me. 4) you can select metric/freedom units, but can't adjust the step for them and need to input numeric values with keyboard (no drag-and-drop things) My suggestion is to raise a black flag and use Adobe InDesign with ChatGPT. Much more convenient and powerful + it can work with data files to "print to pdf" whole collections based on CSV/xls files.

It's useful software if you're not a graphic designer and want to organize and iterate on component ideas for prototyping. I've found the functionality helpful in getting my ideas down. That said, it's overpriced, and the AI features are a slap in the face to anyone creating games. AI is a scourge on tabletop game design and I would absolutely never incorporate it at any step of the game design process, and implementing it here shows a fundamental lack of understanding for the people working in the space. I'm only using it because I had their previous product and got an update deal a long time ago.

Can be soothingly slow for card creation but overall it great

It's nice to use and easy to pick up. The more you learn about i the more you can do but it makes it quick and easy to make a lot of cards off a template and you can just simply change the templet and it updates all the cards instead of one at a time. I have made several games with this now. Also super easy on exporting in multiple ways.
