Syder Arcade

Very short but fun side scroller schmup. There are only 6 levels and, in total, you can beat the entire game in under 45 minutes. I highly recommend the game on sale.

It´s a classy Space Shooter like back in the good old Gradius, R-Type or... if you´re that old... Katakis Style. And it´s your choice if you play it with nice 3D Graphics or you can play it in an accurate Retro System Filter. SVGA, VGA, Amiga, C64, ZX Spectrum. You name it, Can only recommend this game.

-This game was a very simple shoot em up which I liked. -There is no story, characters or world building that is noteworthy. -Graphics are good and the game ran well. You have a menu option to put on different filters to make the game more retro like. -Sound design was average, OST is dull. -The gameplay is the same as all the game in that genre, even lacking I might say as they have no game mechanics that differ from competition. You have 4 difficulty, 4 different ships and only 6 campaign levels and 3 survival levels. -Achievements are easy to get but some can be grindy. The survival level scoreboard achievements might be bugged, they unlocked even tho I wasn't even in the top 100 but seeing the impossible high scores some people definitely cheated. I rate it 5/10
