A very fun game with its own soul game studio's signature art style. It takes everything from the original flash game and improves it. It is very rare that a sequel is an upgrade in every way but this is exactly the case. I have just finished my first playtrough which took 18 hours. I have used only one weapon type troughout the playtrough and havent touched fishing, other builds or endless mode. I can imagine myself easily sinking 80+ hours into this game. Game is a bit grindy though so be warned. 8\10 Would recommend.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

So, this is another game that I honestly have mixed feelings about. I do think the pros outweigh the cons, but I still feel there was plenty of room for improvement. The early to mid-game is totally fine, and honestly, the story mode wasn't that difficult apart from the final boss and one or two other fights. The combat mechanics are enjoyable—you can dodge or parry attacks and follow up with a powerful counterattack. Being able to have up to two party members also speeds up the game considerably and makes difficult fights much more manageable if you're struggling. I tested every weapon and a wide variety of ring combinations, and I never really got bored experimenting. That said, I do think some weapons are just straight-up OP, while others feel a bit underwhelming (at least for my playstyle). Daggers, the spear, and the staff were by far the easiest weapons for me during the story mode. In Endless Mode, though, things felt completely different. For whatever reason, the sword and shield combo felt incredibly strong, and it ended up being the weapon I used for most of the mode. The only exception was one specific fight where the "final boss" consisted of three healers. That was the only encounter that gave me a genuine challenge, and I had to experiment with several different weapons and ring combinations before finally beating it. Now for the cons. Training is a lot of fun at first, but once you reach the Platinum and Soulmaster challenges, it becomes much more difficult and, honestly, pretty frustrating—especially the combo star challenges. (Yeah... my reaction times were a bit questionable. I'm getting old, okay? :'( ) The dodge medal requiring a 300 combo also gave me a hard time, and it's probably one of the worst medal in the game. Fishing is fine overall, but the RNG can make you take way more attempts than it probably should. It's definitely not the worst part of the game, though. The game could also really use a few QoL improvements. Spending EXP points or using that mushroom in the museum in exchange for Lucky Clovers is unnecessarily tedious because you have to do everything one by one. A "Spend All" or "Exchange All" option would be a huge improvement. My biggest issue, however, is that the endgame becomes incredibly grindy and heavily stat-dependent, with a bit too much RNG involved. Some Endless Mode fights genuinely feel like they can be decided by luck, whether it's how powerfull your abilities are (super/mega) or who the boss's attack. It would also be nice to have something meaningful to spend your money on once you reach the later stages of the game. Overall, I'd still recommend the game because I had fun with it for the most part. However, I also can't help but feel that it had the potential to be so much better.
Game broke after playing for a day and now nothing works, good game but not worth the risk of it breaking and losing your money
As someone who's played every SOULGAME title since back when Flash was still a thing, I can confidently say Sword and Souls Neverseen is their best work yet. It keeps the addictive progression and simple but satisfying combat that made me love the original game while expanding everything with a bigger world and more polished gameplay. Overall, definitely recommend playing this one.
