Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

SURVIVE THE BLACKOUT is a narrative survival game set in a dark post-apocalyptic world where a mysterious global power outage sends civilization spiraling into chaos. In this modern-day tribute to the classic Oregon Trail, the player becomes the reluctant leader of a small group of survivors and tries to lead them to a safe haven. On their journey, every step is a choice, and none of them are simple.
Manage a small team of survivors
Carefully make your choices as a branching narrative unfolds
Scavenge for supplies and manage your resources
Explore the world after the fall of civilization across multiple unique playthroughs
Be the relentless leader the survivors need in the harsh reality of a world in ruins, make all the dramatic choices, and face their consequences. Experience the story unfolding differently each time you play. Find out what YOU are willing to sacrifice to Survive the Blackout!

The world of Survive the Blackout isn’t your average extravagantly stylized, far-fetched post-apo setting. The game presents a plausible scenario of the fall of human civilization. A global power outage caused by factors unknown to the general public is enough for much of the modern world to crumble and for society to collapse. The dire consequences of such an event are powerful enough, without the need to include any supernatural or fantastical elements.
How did the Blackout affect the world? The survivors will travel through different regions, each with its own flavor, local storylines, unique risks, and opportunities. Through their eyes, the player will experience a familiar world reduced to ruin and filled with desperation.

The apocalypse doesn’t make people more interesting than they already are. But it tends to bring out the best, the worst, and the weirdest in people. The story of the post-apocalypse is best told from many different personal perspectives. Anyone who has ever played games like Fallout or other RPG or adventure titles will remember how the world came alive with NPCs telling their stories and adding their own colorful presence to the overall experience.
Preppers. Looters. Orphans. Healers. Murderers. Psychos. Beggars. Loners. Heroes. Opportunists. Thieves. Everyone you meet on the road is a person with their own story, motivation, and personality. Each encounter lets you experience the story of humanity’s fall a little more deeply.

With all the rules gone, without the safety that civilization provides, each decision you make becomes a matter of life and death. Survive the Blackout is a narrative game where you make choices in response to the circumstances your group of survivors faces. It is up to you if you want to base them on morals, a desperate will to survive, or some other ideals. Whatever you decide, you must consider not only the immediate but also the long-term consequences of your actions.
Managing supplies, issuing orders, moving forward, protecting your group, maintaining morale, and giving everyone a sense of purpose is the daily burden of a leader. The group will offer their opinions, but will you listen to them, or try to impose your own ideas? It’s all up to you.

Survive the Blackout is an open-ended, non-linear experience, because we want it to mimic life as well as a small indie game can. But we also want it to be finite and satisfying. Playing the game from start to finish will always provide a full story. A different story in every playthrough, shaped by your decisions and luck, but a complete story nonetheless.
While we hope that the sales of our title provide us with the means and motivation to develop its world and the story even further through future content updates, our main goal is to stay true to how we believe games should be made and sold: as complete products, and not as a “service”.

I've not played much, but so far I like it. I've found it challenging but not difficult and it reminds me a bit of "This War of Mine" but the story changes for your group to be on the road often. Having you make decisions on what to explore and in what manner you'll approach others, sometimes you get lucky and sometimes not so much. There is very little to almost no voice acting here, so it is all text and reading, but it's not an overwhelming amount that shouldn't really be a bother.
Where This War of Mine meet a text adventure game, you will face your limits while you scavenge and try to reach the last hope of survival for your group. With multiple endings and different characters that can trigger certain choices, you will have a lot of time in this.

I think there are some good aspects to this game. You get to choose the leader of your party and they seem to have some different skill sets, although the characters who accompany them appear to be random. The story in basic, but compelling enough that I wanted to try to accomplish the main story goal. Although the story is written, the English language version leaves a lot to be desired, it's sometimes written in broken English and needs to be rewritten, although you can generally understand what they're trying to convey. The biggest part of my frustration lies in the seeming absence of weapons for our protagonists to wield. If the world ended and the result was a lawless distopian wasteland, why the Alabama trailer f#ck wouldn't your characters carry some kind of weapon? Why can't they go into the woods and make a spear or a club? Why can't they find a pipe or use a baseball bat? These characters know the world around them has disintegrated into chaos and have chosen to wander around unarmed. After playing three times, I still didn't have any option to start with or find weapons. I searched dozens of buildings and towns, but to no avail. No intelligent person would be unarmed in this violent and dangerous world. Which leads me to believe our heroes are actually cast from the Special Olympics and are relying on the sympathies of the stories antagonists to shield them from danger.
cool
So I played about an hour of this game and I like games like this you never know what encounter your going to run into and you can unlock more characters. The choices you make in this game change your experiences along the way I love everything about it and I got it for free so thank you. Will do a video on this at some point just wanted to get used to the game and get the hang of it before recording it. So update managed to get a video out here is part 1 of my review will do more if people want me too. https://youtu.be/6HYmGCb0IWc

"Can I play This War of Mine?" "No, we have This War of Mine at home." This War of Mine at home:
Interesting idea of a game but there isn't much more beyond your first hour of playtime. I would've liked more to be fleshed out. Or even something as simple as being able to pick my squad of people. You can only pick one of your 3 squad members.
(2020 Review) I had this game on my wish list ... wish I hadn't. Broken English, boring story, lack of an overall game ... thank god I only lost $10. This game has been re-released as of date, with some additional content and updates. It is a very light version of "Oregon Trail meets This War of Mine." Is it the greatest game I ever played? No. Does it give me $5.99 worth of joy? Yes. Playthrough takes about an hour. I think you can get a few playthroughs worth with different character/class selections and perfectionists will get a few more. I'm also recommending it because it is an independent developer who appears to be a Polska. It's worth the purchase if you have a few bucks and want to waste some old skool pixel time.
