Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 1 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

O jogo é bastante imersivo e prende você por horas...
What an interesting game. My feelings are properly "mixed" about it. I love the story. From what I understand, its based on real events. I like the attention to details. The world, the crafting system, the many things to do and to take care of. On the other hand it feels too grindy. Who would've thought that surviving alone on an island would be difficult? It't not bad, that the game is hard, its just a specific kind of experience. Tools break all the time, you run out of water, you get bit by spiders, you get sunstroke for staying out for too long. Hostile fauna attacks everywhere, even hostile flora - if you are not watching your steps. You need to work constantly just to maintain status quo. The one truly negative thing I can say is how everything is done through menus. Press F to do anything. Would've liked a bit more animations and interactivity. Great game, not for the impatient one.

I've played a lot of survival+crafting games, like The Long Dark, The Forest, Valheim, Vintage Story and some more. Survival: Fountain of Youth is somehow hard to judge for me and I am not sure why it is. My first impression was not the best, as I saw the quite basic survival mechanics and the pretty linear storyline. Only later I realized that this was part of a quite well-made "tutorial" introduction into the game. What felt simplyfied and restricting at first (need to climb specific trees to chart the environment - then you see resources, spawn points etc. on the map) later turned out as being flexible and helpful enough to be accepted. The UI is not the worst, but still has issues, like inventory scrolling away if you remove the last item in a stack or showing helpful details in some cases, but not in others. Simulation is also simplified, e.g. you get wet and get a cold and still overheat in the sun, without the two effects cancelling out each other. Food parameters are quite random, e.g. Bananas give nutrition and hydration, but tomatoes only give nutrition. So, why would I recommend the game? Well, in the end it turned out, that the game kept me entertained enough to continue playing: Crafting mechanics made me wanting to craft more items which I never crafted before. Repair system is nice to be motivated to throw away old items and recraft them. Upgrading your vessel is rewarding. Resource gathering is not too annoying. Perks and skills add some more motivation. The Story is a nice background for progressing further and unlocking new areas doesn't feel too artificial. So long story short: For every aspect of the game, there is surely another game doing it better or more detailed (need to go to Valheim soon to chop some trees^^), but they all also have aspects where they fall short compared to SFoY. So additionally given the low price, it's a clear recommendation!
Its pretty good if you like survival games. Story is okay. The controls are a little janky and it feels a little old and unfinished. But I still thoroughly enjoyed it.
Tiene muchas cositas y está bien conseguido
Vraiment bien foutu.
It's one of the most in depth crafting games I've played. Totally enjoying this, and the exploration. Sailing is phenomenal. Building could use a little more variety, but you can still build some pretty cool houses.
