Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 1 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very fun at the beginning. By mid game it gets extremely tedious and grindy. Very buggy when trying to connect building sections.
I've played a lot of survival+crafting games, like The Long Dark, The Forest, Valheim, Vintage Story and some more. Survival: Fountain of Youth is somehow hard to judge for me and I am not sure why it is. My first impression was not the best, as I saw the quite basic survival mechanics and the pretty linear storyline. Only later I realized that this was part of a quite well-made "tutorial" introduction into the game. What felt simplyfied and restricting at first (need to climb specific trees to chart the environment - then you see resources, spawn points etc. on the map) later turned out as being flexible and helpful enough to be accepted. The UI is not the worst, but still has issues, like inventory scrolling away if you remove the last item in a stack or showing helpful details in some cases, but not in others. Simulation is also simplified, e.g. you get wet and get a cold and still overheat in the sun, without the two effects cancelling out each other. Food parameters are quite random, e.g. Bananas give nutrition and hydration, but tomatoes only give nutrition. So, why would I recommend the game? Well, in the end it turned out, that the game kept me entertained enough to continue playing: Crafting mechanics made me wanting to craft more items which I never crafted before. Repair system is nice to be motivated to throw away old items and recraft them. Upgrading your vessel is rewarding. Resource gathering is not too annoying. Perks and skills add some more motivation. The Story is a nice background for progressing further and unlocking new areas doesn't feel too artificial. So long story short: For every aspect of the game, there is surely another game doing it better or more detailed (need to go to Valheim soon to chop some trees^^), but they all also have aspects where they fall short compared to SFoY. So additionally given the low price, it's a clear recommendation!

ME A GUSTADO LA JUGABLIDAD
Great game, i've played Stranded Deep, Subnautica, Raft and the Long Dark and for all this is a different game it has a lot of good stuff to offer. The maps are large and have genuinely different biomes with flora and fauna to match. The crafting progression is well thought out and gives just the right balance between gathering and discovery of new recipes. The combat, against creatures only, is a nice addition without spoiling the game play and adds a whole new depth relating to crafting the meds to get you back to full health. So far I'm 40 hours in and really enjoying it. Its never going to compete with the likes of Subnautica but for the price I paid (sub £15) its worth every penny.
Pretty good game. A mixture of RPG, crafting, survival and exploration. Not as harsh and as Green Hell, but still some challenge and is very fun and quite addictive! I feel it has some replayability after beating the game and going into construction mode. Sound/music is nice, but not exceptional. Graphics are good. Maybe not the best around but I found the environments immersive. Difficulty-wise you prepare well, by upgrading gear, weapons and making potions/medicines, it makes bosses, hard enemies, and harsh areas easier and manageable. Combat is slightly clunky, but not too bad once you know what you are doing. The story is pretty interesting as well as you follow the footsteps of Ponce the Leon in search of the fountain of youth. This is loosely based on real history. Uncovering the history of the native tribes in the islands is also pretty cool. Def. a thumbs up from me! One caveat, you need too understand the mechanics. I see some negative reviews complaining, about things that are easily solved. it's not that hard.
