For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I can't recommend Super Robot Wars Y on Steam in its current state—wait until the developers address these major issues before picking it up.It doesn't support 4K resolution like previous SRW titles, resulting in blurry visuals and low-quality textures when played in borderless window mode (naturally, since it's stretching a Full HD image to fit a 4K screen). The PC controls are a significant downgrade compared to SRW 30, V, and X, making the experience frustrating and less intuitive. What SRW Y Does Well 1,) Terrain graphics are a clear upgrade: Rock areas look sharp and detailed, water effects are stunning, and atmospheric fog adds real depth 2.) Uncapped FPS: Unlike previous SRW titles locked at 30 FPS, Y runs higher (though it still feels a tad sluggish to me personally). 3.) Deeper, more punishing strategy: Builds on recent entries with smarter mechanics—no more cheesing by landing units on the ground for free movement (every mech action now drains EN), motherships can't grab S adapters and plop down anymore, and low weapon ranks like C get hit hard. This forces thoughtful planning and positioning units for massive terrain or support bonuses, making battles feel rewarding. 4.) Standout "AI " enemies pilot voices: "AI" enemies pilots feature excellent female voice acting—nice attention to detail. Areas for Improvement 1.) Cluttered UI: It's messy and lacks polish; desperately needs a toggle to hide the UI during battle maps for cleaner screenshots or immersion. 2.) Awkward stat screen access: No dedicated menu command like in other SRW games (feels wrong)—you must hit a specific controller button, locking out mouse-only players entirely. 3.) Underwhelming protagonist designs: The protagonist mech looks bland and uncool, while the OG mothership resembles a generic dome slapped onto a rock. 4.)Janky battle-to-strategy transitions: Cutscenes cut off right after finisher moves, freezing for about 1 second before snapping back to the map—feels glitchy, unlike the seamless flow in other SRW titles. 5.)Frame generation incompatibility: Doesn't handle tools like Lossless Scaling well; it actually tanks performance further. 6.)Missing map view shortcut: Can't hit "cancel" to pull up the full map during enemy turns in the pre-battle targeting screen, a handy SRW 30 feature. 7.)No quick-save hotkeys: Dropped F10 (return to title) and F11 (auto-load save) inconvenient for long sessions. 8.)Repetitive maps (so far): Not sure about later variety, but early game recycles the same layouts too often, killing the excitement. I hope the devs release something like a 4K texture support DLC pack, along with an extra "Super Expert" difficulty mode (or even harder options). In this mode, enemies could be more upgraded, prioritize attacks on player units with low HP and high hit chances, and use the "Defend" command if they're at risk of being destroyed by the next player attack. They could also gain access to Spirit commands (which are currently exclusive to player units). This would introduce greater challenge and strategic depth, moving beyond simple linear power creep from enemy mech upgrades. For example, if you fail to kill an enemy and drop its HP below 50%, an enemy with the "Vigor" Spirit might use it on their turn to recover health. Similarly, one with "Focus" could activate it during their turn to boost accuracy and evasion when attacking your units. Of course, to maintain balance, these Spirits would consume SP just like on the player side. I truly wish the devs would add difficulty modes like this and implement proper 4K resolution support for the game. I wouldn't even mind if they came as paid DLC—I'm fine with that. I'm sure there will be a lot of people eager to buy these extra DLC packs, because who wouldn't want more challenges and better graphical quality in SRW? :) For now, though, I'll stick with a 5/10 rating and advise against buying it until these problems are fixed.

Look, even the grinding on this is a blast for me. This game is just a joy for anime nerds.
