The best party antigravity racer out there. - Easy and fun - even while in splitscreen. - Fast but not too fast. - Really easy and reliable controls. - You can see where you're going. - Still some depth so it's not too boring. I kinda wish it would look a bit more polished (in the sense how mario kart 8 looks better and more realistic than previous versions and still doesn't compromise on visibility or change art style) --- but also the current graphics are part of why its so simple and easy and the game builds on them. So it's kind of like a careful wish.
An example of "forever early access". Yet, even in early access, it provides a few hours of fun. If you happen to have friends locally, perfect, get it, its great. The game offers a solid editor for track creation and sharing, has Quick Race and an Option to create your own League (plus 4 official Leagues), and a good load of unlockable ships (no customization though). For the price, absolutely fair, good looking, fun, fast and versatile experience. If the dev was publishing updates more frequently and the game having online multiplayer, it could actually be well received and popular. But the pace of development is too low for that. A year goes by with server maintenance and thats it. Its now in development for more than 5 years and still, considering the time, too barebones. Im missing more modes, more ships, tracks, mechanics, a customization editor for your ship and maybe even visual effects (like how your boost looks) or online MP. It also has no weapons and i would wish there was a gamemode to have that. If you prefer that, get Pacer instead for a cheap price. This game is good, but could be better and has more potential. Wished the dev would speed up development substantially and push out content updates.

The new F-Zero?
This game is awesome. Love that it is 4 player split screen and that there are so many AI racers. You can also unlock items while playing split screen, unlike so many other racing games. Really, really fun and fast racing.
It's alright but not amazing. Six years later it's still in early access and still a 6/10 at best. The graphics looks washed out with grayish tones, textures are low quality, honestly it's very middling graphically. Controls are decent and the sense of speed is good enough but not insane. Very slow updates and I'm not a fan of the new drifting boost mechanics. The game was better in the earlier builds with the original gameplay IMHO. Super Pilot is not really worth buying unless you're a super fan of the genre.
As a F-Zero replacement, this game is OK but it doesn't actually play like any F-Zero game. It has it's own quirks going on with drifting so this is more like a hybrid F-Zero meets Mario Kart without weapons kind of thing. The ships feel satisfying to play with when doing different types of drifts, and probably the best part of the game. The graphics/art design has a bit of polish, the music is decent enough, and a lot of tracks play well enough but there are some bad apples for example those with narrow lanes for an extended period of time with no other way around are probably the worst offenders. Decent to pick up on sale while waiting to see if the game ever comes out of Early Access, but updates have come at a glacial pace from what I've seen.
love this game, so smooth to handle, been looking for a game like for a while
A really good take on the "F-Zero successor" formula, although there are a lot of things that can be ironed out; the lack of combat mechanics is one thing I'm kinda bummed out about.
Great game, very fun for all to enjoy. Some great maps. Pure gameplay. Controller support works well for multiple local players, perfect!
This is great. It can be very fast! Many maps will make it so you to come up with strategies on the fly.
