Encounter design was very poor and easy to bruteforce. Review: After abandonning Gunworld, complete with leaving the message that it is a demo in pre alpha right on the main menu. This developper released Super GunWorld2. Keeping it brief: Knife still does not do nearly enough damage to ever be useful. Seeding guns and collecting them is even jankier and hard to use than it was in the abandonned demo. Guns dont do enough damage either. There is no sound effect when shooting. Animations are lame. The sprites are so ugly that often times I dont even know what I am looking at. Booted so called RPG mode and I think im controlling a... bird.. with his beak sticking out of a hoodie? Why is he all brown? Are those little girls in pink dresses or are they snails? At least two of the monsters i encountered, the gorilla and the green alien just stand there doing nothing. Yeah actually even though this game keeps shoving it in your face that it has guns, and is about guns, the only effective way to play this clunker is to just avoid the monsters and keep going right. Eventually you will tire of the recycled assets, but just in case you were going to soldier through the dev made sure to add a bunch of tiny platforms with little pinkdress ladies running back and forth on them super fast so they would touch you and boot you off in an insta-death pit. The game does not fullscreen correctly and the sound design is also very poor. I am keeping an eye out for this dev and making sure I never support his work again in the future.
