I’ve been playing Super Dungeon Designer periodically since the play test, and it’s been awesome watching it grow. I can't wait to dive further into the full game when I have more time! If you love building dungeons, this game is a dream. The drag-and-drop system makes it super easy to create puzzles, boss fights, and epic adventures. With tons of enemies, objects, and fun items, the possibilities are endless. Plus, with multiplayer and an active community, there’s always something new to check out! But what really makes this game special? The dev team. These heroes are constantly listening to player feedback, engaging with players on Discord and dev streams, and rolling out massive improvements based on community input. Their passion for making Super Dungeon Designer the best it can be is simply undeniable.
Very fun game with a lot to offer even in an Early Release. In a world where things are either hyper realistic or Atari 2600 blocks like Minecraft...this has smooth easy to make out 2.5D graphics and realistic sounds. It is very easy to pick up and learn in no time. You will be hooked and experimenting with all of the ways to trap and trick your victim...I mean player of your dungeons. The ability to offer 1-4 player capabilities in your dungeons is great for couch Co-Op with Family and Friends too, and something the others don't offer or don't do right.

I was a Kickstarter backer for this. One of my biggest concerns was that coming from a small group of developers, it wouldn't be too flushed out. Because of that, I wasn't expecting too much from the early access release. I can tell you that I was pleasantly mistaken. When it first became available, I thought I would get on and dabble with it for a few minutes. Right away I noticed there was a tutorial. It helped me get right into the dungeon-building process. The tools and processes were so intuitive that I didn't have much trouble at all in navigating around and creating things. I think I will have more fun designing dungeons than playing them (I have yet to play one). Is the game perfect? No. BUT...with the few minor bugs I have found with my QA Engineer eagle-eyes, I am shocked there are so few for an early access game and this is SOOOOO much more polished than a AAA title five months after release (or even years after). It is well done. I like that it has a family-friendly theme. I am an adult, but I have kids. I like that I can spend time with them in a game that excites all of us. I love building dungeons and having them try it out. My hats off to you, Squish Studios, for making a truly wonderful game. Keep up the good work.
That was great! It might not be Zelda Classic but its probably the best action RPG maker we got on steam unless I'm forgetting anything. Simple, easy to use, the only problem, NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE PLAYING AND MAKING DUNGEONS!! This is a good game especially on sale! STill being updated with new things all the time! C'mon! Try this out get it on sale, support the author(s)! Put those creative skills to work!
Very nice, addicting when you make a dungeon. Took me about 4.5 hours to make a relatively large dungeon called "Abandoned Dungeon". Very good game, cannot wait to see whats next to be added to this awesome game!
If you've enjoyed playing classic Legend of Zelda games and imagined creating your own unique puzzles within a dungeon, this game offers the perfect opportunity to bring that vision to life.
très bon jeu de création et de partage de donjon, avec l'ajout d'autres thèmes, ennemies et modes de jeu, le jeu sera encore meilleur. j'ai hâte de voir comment le jeu va évoluer dans le futur
A quality game using early access appropriately. Pros: -Stable -Quality controls -Crisp and clean editor -Responsive devs Cons -Just shy of 'enough' content Check it out now if: -You are really excited about UGC games. Wait til full release if: -You are interested in playing or building dungeons
Its a fun game where you can make and share your own dungeon, or you can play dungeons that others have shared. My favorite part of the game is creating the dungeons. Dungeon creation is the core of the game and it is well done. Watching a friend play your dungeon can be very fun. You can create some very intricate dungeons and puzzles, which is really cool and it can be as easy or challenging as you want. the only thing I find lacking with dungeon creation is the absence of decorations. I would love to be able to put purely decorative items like vines on walls, broken weapons on ground, footprints, etc. If you are only about playing other people's dungeons, you can definitely browse dungeons created by others. There seems to be a ranking/popularity concept. I found browsing the public dungeons to be hit or miss, with some being really good and others not so much. As the dungeon building aspect is the main focus of the game, there are a few things I found missing from actually playing the dungeons. * No tutorial - While the gameplay is simple enough, a few tutorial levels would be nice * No "campaign" or other section specifically for high quality dungeons provided by the developer * Bow only shoots in compass directions - Archery would feel 100 times more enjoyable if you could aim in all directions Overall I have enjoyed my experience so far and would recommend this to others.
It has been fun watching this game grow. Developers are very responsive in Discord and Live Streams. They even play user dungeons and have contests live, which has been really cool. I learn something new every stream they do. Well worth the price of admission and they are still adding more. I actually bought it twice to play with my kids. Can't wait for it to be on Switch too.
